Scholarship Workshops

At AESG, our Sports Scholars receive tailored support designed to elevate their performance, confidence and long‑term development. Through the scholarship programme, scholars benefit from specialist coaching and workshops that focus on movement mechanics, speed and power, performance mindset, nutrition, and lifestyle management. This holistic approach ensures that each girl is equipped to excel in her chosen sport. Scholars train within an environment that nurtures ambition, celebrates high achievement, and provides the structure and expertise needed to reach regional, national, and even international levels.

“I

love being surrounded by other girls who are just as passionate about sport. The support and encouragement have helped me achieve things I never thought possible.”

Opportunities as a Sports Scholar

As part of the scholarship programme, there is an exciting array of trips and experiences. From trips to Wimbledon, an exciting annual ski trip, visiting the Manchester Velodrome, playing Padel and Golf, there are also numerous sports clubs such as Netball, Hockey, Running, Rounders, Climbing, Athletics and Football.

Regional and National Competitions

Throughout the year, there will be many opportunities to take part in regional and national competitions. We enter girls into the Independent Schools Association (ISA) competitions as well as national netball tournaments. These competitions open the door to an incredible range of competitive and inspiring experiences for our girls. We are proud that we came 2 in the UK for the ‘Sisters n Sport Cup’ netball finals, which brought together some of the strongest school teams in the country. Pupils have also taken part in national swimming competitions at the iconic London Aquatics Centre, home of the 2012 Olympic Games These experiences develop skill, teamwork, character, and a lifelong love of sport
