Letter from the President

Albany Technical College closed Academic Year 2025 with measurable progress. We expanded capacity where our region needs it most—opening the Dr. Anthony O. Parker Transportation Academy and adding a Hybrid & EV Lab in Automotive Technology—while keeping quality at the center. This year, our graduates delivered outstanding results across high-demand fields, including 100% first-attempt pass rates in Radiologic Technology and perfect NCLEX performance for ASN cohorts, alongside strong outcomes in Surgical Technology, EMT, and Paramedicine. Quality remained our constant, affirmed through successful site visits and the launch of Georgia’s first state-approved Critical Care Paramedic cohort.

Student experience and support grew as well. The Hub: Food & Clothing Pantry opened to remove basic-needs barriers; the Georgia Department of Veterans Service established an on-campus office; and our Department of Defense SkillBridge efforts connected service members to high-skill careers. Titans Basketball captured the GCAA Division I title and our SkillsUSA team brought home state medals.

These achievements reflect a simple promise: programs aligned to industry, instruction that delivers results, and partnerships that move students into good jobs. With Esports approved to launch in 2025 and new certificates— Electric Vehicle Professional, Cybersecurity, and Geriatric Care Assistant— our momentum is forward.

Thank you to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and partners for advancing this mission. Together, we will keep widening access, raising completion, and meeting the workforce needs of Southwest Georgia.
