ALAMANCE TODAY JULY 22 - JULY 29, 2026

Mid-Year Update Dear ACC Members, As we reach the midpoint of the year, we wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Alamance Country Club. It has been an exciting and active first half of 2026, and I wanted to share a few highlights, an update of where we stand financially, and what lies ahead. The year has been filled with outstanding member participation across the club. We celebrated record attendance at both our Easter and Mother's Day events, demonstrating how important these family traditions continue to be for our membership. It is always rewarding to see the clubhouse filled with friends and families creating lasting memories together. Golf activity has continued to grow, with rounds played remaining well ahead of previous years continuing on the trend of 10%+ growth annually. The increased use of our golf facilities reflects the vitality of the club, the golf experience delivered by Drake’s team, and the great course conditions that Jeff and his team have maintained in what has been a very challenging year weather wise. Our tennis program has also experienced exciting growth. This season we have expanded our adult USTA offerings by adding new teams, while our junior tennis program continues to flourish with additional teams and increased participation. These developments are a result of Bob’s hard work and dedication along with Stefan’s enthusiasm and engagement of our membership. The pool season is off to a tremendous start as well. The warm weather has brought strong attendance, and it has been wonderful to see so many families enjoying one of the club's most popular amenities. From a financial perspective, the club remains in a solid position. Following the closing of June activity we are currently just slightly behind budget ($68,000), this is primarily attributable to two factors. First, this is our first full year establishing an operating baseline with Pineways open, giving us valuable data as we refine expectations moving forward. Second, our banquet calendar has developed more slowly than anticipated during the first half of the year. We remain encouraged by current member activity and continue to focus on finishing the year strongly.
