How it Works:
Every member has their name in the tumbler. One name will be drawn at random. The winner MUST BE PRESENT IN THE GRILL OR SADDLE CLUB LOUNGE with an open ticket, club events (like wine dinners) count as being present in the clubhouse. Private banquet events do not count as being present, nor does being at Pineways. The gold starts off at $300 in credit. Each week that the name drawn is not present, the name goes back in and the pot grows by $100 (capped @ $2000). This continues until someone wins and then the pot restarts at $300. Jane Beck missed her chance to win $400 in club
The Club offers several event spaces to accommodate gatherings of different sizes:
Conference Room seats up to 12 guests and is ideal for meetings.
Heritage Ballroom accommodates 75 guests seated or up to 100 for a cocktail-style event.
Alamance Ballroom and Terrace Room provide the largest indoor option, seating up to 200 guests or hosting 300 for cocktailstyle events.

Planning a memorable event starts with the right setting, details, and a team that knows how to bring it all together. At Alamance Country Club, Events Coordinator Scott Keener works closely with members to turn celebrations and gatherings into enjoyable experiences.
Scott shared that Alamance Country Club is well suited for many types of events, both personal and professional. Members can host birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, and other special occasions. The club also offers spaces for engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding celebrations, and receptions. For those celebrating life’s milestones, bridal showers, baby showers, and couple showers are popular options. Corporate meetings, client appreciation, or thank you parties are also welcomed, making the club a versatile venue for business needs as well.
Wedgewood Room is perfect for gatherings with seating for 20 guests or 25 cocktailstyle.
Amenity Lawn offers an outdoor setting with seating for 100 guests or up to 175 for cocktail-style events.
To help with planning, Scott recommends reviewing the club’s banquet packet. This packet includes menus, event options, policies, and service charge information. Members can request a PDF version by email or pick up a physical copy at the front desk. Event policies and service charges can be found on pages five through eight of the packet.
With flexible spaces and guidance from Scott Keener, Alamance Country Club continues to be a premier destination for hosting unforgettable events. Whether planning a small gathering or a large celebration, the events team is ready to help bring every detail to life.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear ACC Membership,
The start of 2026 presents some opportunities to serve your club and participate in helping to continue our growth and offerings.
If you have interest in serving on a committee or eventually the board, please let us know. If you have not filled out a committee interest form in the past, please share your interest by completing this short form and return it to Charlie or Jenn Handwerk.
Please know that completing the form does not guarantee a committee assignment but it does guarantee that we know about your interest. Committee size is limited and your committee of interest may not be rotating an open seat this year.
If you are asked to serve on a committee, there will be a mandatory committee orientation in January. The orientation dates and times have not been determined yet.
Thank you for your interest in giving back to ACC and helping to continue making it GREAT!
