Whew, we made it through the busy season! In a span of a quarter, Alabama Trucking successfully hosted its two most significant and popular events of the year, while scoring big wins for trucking safety during the 2023 State Legislative Session. This issue covers all that, and so much more.
It’s tradition to give this issue’s Cover Story to the current Driver of the Year Award winner, and this one proudly sports Emanuel Windham of Blair Logistics, who was recognized back in March with the Association's top honor for individual excellence in fleet safety management. We also have coverage from last spring’s 2023 Alabama Trucking Convention, which drew a record crowd and topped all previous conventions for member participation and support.
