February is a powerful month of reflection, celebration, and purpose. As we honor Black History Month, we pause to recognize the extraordinary achievements, sacrifices, and enduring contributions of Black leaders throughout history. Their resilience, vision, and unwavering commitment to progress continue to inspire us to serve boldly and lead with intention.
This month also invites us to celebrate love not only through Valentine’s Day, but through the genuine care, compassion, and sisterhood we extend to one another each day. The bonds we share strengthen our chapter and remind us that when one Soror is uplifted, we all rise together.
In addition, February is American Heart Health Month, reminding us to be bold and intentional about our physical wellbeing. Caring for our hearts strengthens us to continue the work of service that defines who we are. In that spirit, I encourage every Soror to show up and stand strong at our Annual Pink Goes Red Event on February 7 at LA Southwest College, as we unite in awareness, advocacy, and action for heart health.
And let’s keep the momentum going lace up your sneakers and join our AGO Walking Squad each month as we move with purpose, motivate one another, and commit to wellness together.
Sorors, let us move through this month anchored in our legacy, united in purpose, and unwavering in sisterhood. Let us show up fully supporting one another, engaging in the work, and wearing our pink and green with pride. Together, let us continue to honor those who came before us by remaining visible, active, and committed to the ideals of service, scholarship, and sisterly love.
When AGO stands together, our impact is undeniable.
