SPRING LUNCHEON
Dear Friend,
With gratitude and hope, we look ahead to the 2026 Aid for Women Spring Luncheon, to be held Thursday, May 7th at the Skokie Country Club in Glencoe. Our message is spreading! More and more women are coming to our eight pregnancy care centers and two maternity homes, finding professional guidance and trusted friendship to help them through a challenging time in their lives. Lives are being saved, and our impact is growing during this historic year for our nation.
Aid for Women is, indeed, a force for good in Illinois, serving more than 5,000 women a year, despite the fact that elected officials in our state today are pushing a pro-abortion agenda more aggressively than ever before. Governments around the world express concern about their declining birth rates. There are more than two couples waiting for every child available for adoption. And yet the number of abortions continues to rise, with dangerous Abortion Pills arriving in the mail to vulnerable women, and Chicago clinics advertising abortion services in the 34th week of a pregnancy. Can you join us, as we offer life-affirming options that respect the dignity and celebrate the potential of every mother and unborn child?
Our Spring Luncheon is one of only two main fundraisers we host each year. We invite you to become a Sponsor for this special event. We are thrilled to welcome Platinum award-winning singer and songwriter Mark Schultz as our Guest Speaker, and this event promises to be most memorable for the hundreds of North Shore residents who will be in attendance. Your individual/ company name will be included in our program book, and in our event signage, and your sponsorship will ensure that our programs and services will continue to be available to the increasing number of women who are reaching out to us in need.
We are up against tough odds today, as were the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago. However, like those brave patriots, we believe that all men and women are endowed by their Creator with the inalienable Rights of “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” We are inspired by the courageous mothers we accompany who are working toward a better future for themselves and their children. And we continue to count on the Holy Spirit to guide all that we do each day.
