Positive trends continue to emerge across our eight pregnancy care centers and two live-in maternity homes. We are projected to serve more than 11,200 at-risk individuals this year, which is a 25% increase from 2025. Complex challenges to our work still exist, yet we remain hopeful and steadfast as we plan the 2026 Aid for Women Annual Benefit Dinner for Wednesday, September 30 at the Union League Club of Chicago.

We are delighted to welcome Ben Domenech, a television commentator, radio host, and editor of The Spectator World who will serve as our Keynote Speaker. Ben co-founded The Federalist newspaper and served as its publisher for nearly a decade. He will encourage us with his reflections on the importance of civil discourse, the argument for life through the lens of science and the spiritual battle that wages on in our world today. Another highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2026 Aid for Women Praesidium Vitae Award to Thomas Brejcha, Founder, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society. Nearly 70% of abortions in America now occur through the Abortion Pill, a dangerous set of drugs that women can receive in the mail and take in their homes, without ever having an in-person appointment with a physician. At Aid for Women, our goal is to reach as many women as possible to let them know they have options, so they do not have to subject themselves to the tragedy of abortion. Our lifeaffirming programs and services are offered free-of-charge, and many testimonials from former clients (at https://helpaidforwomen.org) illustrate the impact that Aid for Women is having in Illinois. Our Annual Benefit Dinner provides us with the opportunity to connect in-person with our network of friends and benefactors, while we raise vital funds for our work.
