Online Plan Room Services AGC’s Online Plan Room provides the San Diego construction industry with a high-end easy-to-use platform with access to projects statewide. Our bidding service is continually evolving to provide the industry with topnotch products. This service is included in all AGC San Diego Chapter memberships.

Full Access to our Statewide Plan Room:

The Online Plan Service platform is an easy-to- use tool that allows users to access real-time information and construction documents on any platform; PC, Mac, Table, or Smart Phone. The OPS platform allows users to view, print, download and take-off plans and specs. It includes a ‘Google Like’ word search and interactive mapping. Users can set up saved searches that define their trade or material within a geographical area they define. Additionally, you can choose to receive a nightly email of new jobs received that meet your saved search criteria. The AGC Online Plan Room contains the following features: • Easy viewing of project information • Color code projects for easy tracking • Unique keyword search to quickly find projects • View or download docs • Email project info • Add your firm to the bidders list • Add projects to your bid calendar

The AGC Build & Serve Charitable alliance coordinates the Construction Industry Blood Drive each summer. The San Diego Blood Bank’s supplies are usually low after the July 4th holiday, so AGC schedules its drive during this time to replenish the diminished supply.

REGISTER FOR ALL CLASSES ONLINE AT WWW.AGCSD.ORG The event calendar features three views: a monthly calendar, a weekly calendar, and a list by month view. The calendar can be searched by date, or you can choose the event type under the “Filter by Event Type” to see just AGC Events or our Safety Training classes. To receive member pricing on our classes, please use the “login” option at the top of the class registration page to login into the Member Portal. How do I get access to the Member Portal? Visit the Member Portal login page and select “forgot your password?” and fill out the information to receive the password reset to login into your account. We might not have you already set up in our system, so if you receive this error,“ A user with that email was not found,” you will need to fill out the Member Portal Login Form to request a login be created in our system. If you have any additional questions about the Member Portal, you can email the staff at memberportal@agcsd.org. BY REGISTERING FOR THE SESSION YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE POLICIES BELOW: Payment Policy: Payments must be received at time of registration, or seven days prior to class start date. Registrations will not be confirmed until payment is received. Member Rate: This rate applies to AGC San Diego Chapter members and their employees that are in good standing. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 3 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 3 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to training@ agcsd.org. Transfer Policy: On an individually approved basis, registrants who must cancel enrollment due to extenuating circumstances may make one transfer of their registration to a future training session, provided the same course is already scheduled within one year of the prior class date. Any subsequent rescheduling of a class registration after the first occurrence must be requested in writing and may be granted by the AGC Education Department only after evaluation. Requests must be received in writing no later than 3 business days prior to class and delivered to training@ agcsd.org. All transfers must be used towards the same class topic and same individual. Substitution Policy: Registered attendees who must cancel their participation may request a substitute to attend in their place at any time. The request must be sent in writing by the original registrant to training@agcsd.org before the session begins. No Show Policy: If registrant(s) elect not to attend, individuals / company will owe the entire course fee and or not be refunded or credited to a future training class. Low Enrollment AGC San Diego reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any course within 48 hours of the scheduled date due to low enrollment. Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C)

The online instructor-led CQM-C training, facilitated by Authorized/Certiﬁed Instructors, meets the training requirements outlined by NAVFAC/USACE for Quality Control Manager appointment. Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling is the most widely used scheduling technique in the Transportation market. Students can learn at their own pace while developing real-world competencies in site planning, project scheduling, and design collaboration. Modules include: 1. Microsoft Project for Site Engineers – critical path mastery & real project scheduling The methods, structures and templates we currently use on multi $Million projects. We have selected the modules in this order because the AutoCAD model we build in Module 2 in a 2D environment we then import into SketchUp and create 3D models all to scale. This is great for visualisations to assist in site planning, critical high risk work fronts methodologies, presentations to the client and internally. Now not a lot of engineers are familiar with this and the way we teach it integrating the software packages for real life construction engineering projects is not done anywhere that we’ve found. 4. Bluebeam for Construction Markups – the modern digital skill every engineer needs This is a very powerful PDF editor and great for the construction engineering field. We teach all the key tricks and tips on how to leverage this software and again integrate it with the AutoCAD & SketchUp 3D software. We have planned the modules this way for a reason. We provide the students some drawing templates they can use to import the 3D images and begin to mark-up and annotate to provide context and instructions to end user relating to the buildability of for example a High Risk work front. The Federal Government requires contractors to comply with EM385-1-1 Safety and Health requirements training before any work is performed on military job sites. This course includes classroom instruction in addition to a hands-on workshop on writing an AHA. Each student will be creating there own AHA on a laptop computer provided by the AGC and having it reviewed for accuracy and efficiency by our Instructors.
