Our fifth grade student, Natalie, was featured in her Scott Elementary School’s Black History Month Program as a co-host for the evening and we are happy to report that she did a fabulous job!

AGAPE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COUNCIL
We are happy to introduce our 2026 Agape Young Professionals Council (AYP). This talented and motivated group is planning for an impactful year and actively recruiting new members. The group includes working professionals ages 25-35 who are passionate about service, leadership, and creating lasting impact in Atlanta. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of each month alternating between virtual and in-person. The next meeting is virtual on Wednesday, March 11, 6:30-7:30p. ATLANTA WOMEN’S FOUNDATION
The Atlanta Women’s Foundation hosted its annual poverty simulation for Inspire Atlanta , at Agape Youth & Family Center in February. It was a privilege to welcome The Atlanta Women’s Foundation for its inspiring day of education, empathy, and impact as part of their Inspire Atlanta simulation. We’re grateful for the vital role AWF plays in uplifting our community and for our longstanding partnership. FOURTH GRADERS TRAVEL TO JEKYLL ISLAND
In February, our fourth-grade students took their annual trip to Jekyll Island, and for some, it was their very first time seeing the ocean. They explored the marshlands, searched for fish in the swamp, and met a herpetologist who introduced them to a snake, alligator, tortoise, sea turtle, and even a bearded dragon. Each moment sparked curiosity, courage, and wonder. Jekyll Island has been a cherished tradition for our students for many years. The opportunity to step away from everyday responsibilities and pressures, to explore nature and simply be children, is truly life-changing. MS. ROBINSON SPREADS AGAPE LOVE
The week of Valentine’s Day was filled with Agape Love thanks to Ms. Robinson, our In-School Education & Outreach Specialist at Scott Elementary School. She hosted an Agape Love Week, sharing lunch, encouragement, and heartfelt appreciation with teachers and staff. Their smiles were the sweetest gift in return. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Scott Elementary and its dedicated team.
Our RAGTime Galentine’s Day Luncheon couldn’t have been sweeter last month! Students from The Westminster Schools, led by administrator, Ms. Carter, volunteered and shared time with our seniors. Together, they played Bingo and enjoyed a sponsored lunch from Henri’s Bakery & Deli, complete with sandwiches and Valentine’s Day treats. Special thanks to Henri’s Bakery & Deli and Ms. Carter for serving our community seniors! You may have heard a young voice call last month with a special message of thanks to the supporters who go above and beyond, giving generously and volunteering for the families of Agape. Our annual Thank-a-thon was led by seven incredible students who made more than 100 calls, sharing their gratitude for the difference you make in their lives as they attend Agape programs each day. Every effort makes a huge difference in the lives of our students who spend their K–12 years in our after-school and summer programs. We truly can’t do this work without you. Please continue to give as you feel led. Your generosity changes lives.

students.
In May 2026, Agape will reach a significant milestone with the current high school graduating class with a total of 106 graduates from our program since 2009!
