PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS | K-12 SUMMER CAMP 2026

Swim Camp with Swem Kids ur 3rd–5th grade students O dove into an exciting week of swimming lessons at Lynwood Park, where they built essential water safety skills, gained confidence in the pool, and learned the fundamentals of swimming —all while having an incredible time! Led by trained instructors in a safe, encouraging environment, each lesson helped students grow stronger, more confident, and ready to make waves both in and out of the water.

Hawkins Athletics: This summer, we continued our partnership with Hawkins Athletics to keep students active, engaged, and building lifelong skills through structured physical education. Each session introduced students to a different sport— from basketball and soccer to pickleball, golf, dance, and more—while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and healthy habits. Led by experienced instructors, these fun and interactive activities encouraged students to stay active, try new challenges, and discover the joy of movement in a safe and supportive environment.

Camp Mikell Ten of our students in grades 3rd–8th enjoyed an unforgettable week at Camp Mikell's Performing Arts Camp. Students explored creativity, built confidence, and formed lasting friendships through music, theater, and the arts. Our sincerest thanks to St. Anne’s Episcopal Church for making this happen each year!

A Summer of Adventure

This summer, our students stepped outside their comfort zones and into unforgettable outdoor adventures with Julie's Dream!

Our rising 3rd–5th graders enjoyed Adventure Camp where they climbed, zip-lined, explored the Chattahoochee River, learned about local wildlife and enjoyed hiking and nature activities throughout metro Atlanta.

Rising 6th and 7th graders embarked on their first overnight adventure with Julie’s Dream, hiking Tallulah Gorge, ziplining and learning the basics of whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River. Along the way, devotionals encouraged students to reflect on God as a source of light, guidance and truth. Our rising 8th and 9th grade students enjoyed a trip to Maine! The group included 10 students who spent several days in July exploring the coastal communities of St. George, Rockland, and Camden. They also visited Owl's Head, Crescent Beach, and Camden Hills State Park, where they enjoyed outdoor adventures including swimming, hiking, sea kayaking, a ferry ride to a nearby island, and whitewater rafting.

Our high school Navigate students traveled even farther—to Colorado and Utah for a technology-free expedition with Deer Hill Expeditions. During four days of rafting and camping along the San Juan River, they navigated rapids and explored Indigenous history.

Thank you to Julie’s Dream and all the partners and supporters who made these enriching, transformative experiences possible for our students.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS Back 2 School Bonanza We had another successful Back 2 School Bonanza last month preparing our students and families for a strong start to the school year. Our annual Back 2 School Bonanza was a day to remember as we welcomed 225 K–12 students for a fun-filled, carnival-themed celebration! Beyond the games, laughter, and excitement, every student left equipped with the essentials they need for a successful school year—including a backpack filled with school supplies, a new pair of shoes, a hygiene kit, an Old Navy gift card, and more. The day was made even more special thanks to the incredible businesses, community partners, and volunteers who remind every family that they are supported by a community that believes in their success. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and partnered with us.

Living Well Together: Health, Wellness and Bingo Social Living Well Together brought together more than 85 senior citizens for a joyful day dedicated to health, wellness, and connection. Participants rotated through engaging activities including line dancing, painting, crochet, chair fitness, hand massages, and

smoothie demonstrations while connecting with valuable community resource partners. The day concluded with a lively Bingo celebration, creating opportunities for laughter, friendship, and fellowship. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, in-kind partners, volunteers, and community vendors, our seniors left feeling encouraged, empowered, and reminded that they are valued members of the Agape family.

FAMILY PARNTERSHIP HIGHLIGHTS NUTRITION PARTNERSHIP | Special thanks to our partners at Open Hand Atlanta! Agape recently celebrated the successful completion of our 12-week partnership, which provided weekly deliveries of fresh produce and groceries to families facing food insecurity. The program helped ease financial stress while giving families greater access to nutritious food throughout the summer. We are grateful to Open Hand Atlanta for partnering with us to educate, nourish, and support our families!

VISION CARE PARTNER | Through the generosity of Dr. Ortiz and Westside Eye Center, students continue to receive free eye exams and prescription glasses—removing barriers to learning and helping children see both the classroom and their future more clearly.
