Perception Prologue My understanding of the relationship between architecture and the environment is that architecture acts as a medium that influences the way people perceive the external environment and what they perceive. This perception is not only a visual observation of the landscape, but also a deeper understanding of the connection between people and the built and natural environment by being in the environment and then resonate with it. This holistic and continuous perception, from visual to perceptual, stems from the sense of atmosphere created by the organic integration of the building with its surroundings.
