TRUMP ATTACKS BLACK VOTE

When Donald Trump asked Black Americans “What have you got to lose?” he should have been asking himself that as he surely found out what he had to lose – the presidency - no matter how much he tries to dispute it. The days of his manipulation and race baiting will no longer be tied to his “commander in chief ” title.
And in classic Trump fashion, he is going down kicking and screaming like a “terrible twos” toddler, unwilling to concede and attacking the votes of the people he begged for support. The president is challenging the votes of minority-heavy areas, contesting election results in cities where he was the clear loser and doing everything he can to hold up the
country from “getting about its business and moving on.” Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie finally had the courage to do what most Republicans have been afraid to do - speak out against the president’s actions and call them exactly what they are -an embarrassment! The president is aggressively trying to invalidate ballots cast in Philadelphia, De-
troit and other heavily Democratic cities, an effort that would disenfranchise a disproportionate number of Black voters, but he has not been successful. The Trump team is trying to dismiss these challenges as merely questioning results in cities where, in their eyes, fraud is most likely to have occurred, but

DAVID DINKINS, NEW YORK’S 1ST BLACK MAYOR, DIES AT 93 The first and only Black mayor of New York City, David Norman Dinkins, who worked tirelessly to improve race relations in the nation’s largest city he referred to as a “gorgeous mosaic,” died Monday after being found unconscious at his Upper East Side Manhattan home. He was 93 years old. Current Mayor Bill de Blasio released a statement on social media, calling Dinkins a mentor and friend. “Chirlane and I are
mourning a truly great man. David Dinkins simply set this city on a better path,” he tweeted. “He was my mentor, he was my friend, and his steadfast commitment to fight for that “gorgeous mosaic” inspires me every single day. We’ll keep up his fight.” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo shared a photo of himself with Dinkins on Twitter, writing “NY lost a remarkable civic leader.”

Bundini Brown said to Muhammad Ali in his bruising fight with Joe Frazier, “Champ, you have to put your hands together.” In boxing lingo, that meant you had to do more than jab, you must throw combinations, you have to win by more than the popular vote, you have to convincingly knock someone out of the ring. This is about our new President Joe Biden and the departing high priest of chaos, President Donald Trump, that is fixated on refusing to concede and making mischief. This is also about the advisor (s) that you have chosen to be in your corner. Bundini had previously been a trainer and cornerman for the greatest pound for pound fighter in the world, Sugar Ray Robinson. Bundini was laser-focused on
his fighter winning the contest. He knew when the clowning had to stop and when it was time to put your hands together, get vicious and put your opponent to sleep. The country that Biden will govern has defeated Germany, Japan and Italy at a cost of hundreds of thousands of lives. Our shield has an emblem for defeating Nazis and fascists, despite the current president praising “good Nazis.” But we could not have envisioned that Russian communism would have captured such an asset, the executive branch of the United States government. In 2015, a sustained attack began to destroy our system of government that has endured for 240 years. Our values, institutions and norms - the rule of law and our alliances such as NATO - faced a blizzard of attacks that were designed to destroy our cherished but imperfect democracy. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina called the president a con man and clown during his primary race for President in 2015. Graham might have seen that the American landscape would be littered with

Is Biden the right man? Is Biden the right man for the Presidency in these perilous, extremely, difficult times? No doubt about it, Donald Trump is corrupt and ungodly. Christian Right Evangelicals and the GOP should have been a check/balance force on an ungodly, unrighteous, corrupt 45th President, but instead they have been complicit in the corruption. These selfcentered institutional entities have allowed an ungodly male to wreak devilish-terror-revenge over a nation that God has blessed immensely. Where do we go from here is the profound spiritual question. Can America, through the leadership team of Biden/Harris, restore America as a shining democratic beacon of light for the world? Because: “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he

is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1: 6-7). For four short years, which seems like an eternity, America has been living in hellish confusion rather than living in the light of God, because: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14). The right man for the right time must be a god-fearing man (Christian); not a male of the world, because fear of the Lord is wisdom. Thus, it is paramount that the President be a statesman; not a power seeking, money-grubbing-politician, because the cornerstone moral values/ principles of a godlygood Presidential leader are: • America’s president should be a God-fearing person with a moral conscience. • Have an abiding commitment to the principles of Constitutional democracy. • Godly Stewardship of the planet (climate change). • Ensuring quality of educational opportunity: democracy requires spiritual enlightenment and an understanding
of the heavenly gifts. • Belief in affordable universal healthcare, because health is wealth (human right). • Belief in equal justice under law: equality of law enforcement. • Must know how to build international/ democratic relationships. Trump led America into the wilderness of vulgar, ignorant, self-centered capitalism rather than democratic capitalism. Now, America is on the edge of spiritual, moral collapse. When Trump moved into The White House on January 20th of 2017, he called The White House a dump. Now, that his leadership mentality has been overwhelmingly rejected, he does not desire to leave the dump. WHY? Biden was elected and anointed for such a time as this. Biden is a God conscience man, and his Christian conscience will not allow him to be an ignorant fool, because: “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.” Therefore: “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” America, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE OF ‘THE REVOLUTION’

She sat poised, alert, laser-focused. Speaking with the voice and diction of a college professor and the words of what white folks would call a “revolutionary.” Angela Davis was no physical threat to them, but she was a mental powerhouse, unshakeable and unbreakable as she stared the white reporter in the eyes, answering his questions that he thought were hard-hitting, and she thought were idiotic and simplistic from a person who had no idea of what it meant to be Black in America. It was 1972, and the “high-yella” perfectly rounded Afro-rocking sistah held her own, while being interviewed at the California State Prison.
The reporter asked her about the Black Panther Party and to help him understand what a revolution was all about. He wasn’t ready for what she had to say. He asked, “How do you get there? Do you get there by confrontation and violence?” “Oh, is that the question you are asking me?” Davis replied with a smirk, she then led him down a path of exploration into the mind of Blacks who have been targeted, oppressed and on the receiving end of violence for generations. We revisit this interview and share Davis’ words with you today, because when so many of you are screaming that you are “WOKE,” it is clear some of you
really don’t know how it feels to be a person who was never able to get any sleep. Davis and other civil rights fighters from decades ago understand on a deeper level. Davis eloquently laid it out....... “When you talk about a revolution, most people think violence without realizing that the real content of any kind of revolutionary threat lies in the principals and the goals that you are striving for, not in the way you reach them. BEN CARSON ‘OUT OF THE WOODS’ WITH COVID-19; PRAISES TRUMP, UNPROVEN OLEANDER By: AANI Staff
Trump Administration Housing Secretary Ben Carson says he is “out of the woods” from the grips of COVID-19, and is crediting unapproved, experimental treatments with saving his life, but there is no medical evidence that those treatments worked. The retired neurosurgeon, who tested positive earlier this month, also confirmed that his wife, Candy, was also infected. Carson is one of a growing list of Trump Administration officials who contracted coronavirus. The president, First Lady

Coronavirus has killed more than 250,000 Americans and infected more than 12 million. Carson admitted that he has access to more medical care than most Americans. He credited President Trump, the White House medical team and doctors at the Wal-
ter Reed military hospital for his recovery. He said the president, “cleared me for the monoclonal antibody therapy that he had previously received, which I am convinced saved my life.” In a statement posted on Facebook, Carson said he was “extremely sick” but saw “dramatic improvement” after taking a botanical treatment derived from the oleander plant. Carson said he has underlying conditions, which he did not specify, “and after a brief period when I only experienced minor discomfort, the symptoms accelerated, and I became desperately ill.”
All of us must vanquish real and imagined enemies if we are to climb the highest mountain to the summit of our own being. This is necessary to be king of your own kingdom. At some point we must stop clowning and throw game-ending combinations. Not only must Biden begin to repair the damage, he must neutralize the sore loser in order for the country to reunite and heal. Even if the expired
president pardons himself, even if he resigns and pimps VP Mike Pence to pardon him, Biden must use all the federal muscle to KO him. He should be KO’d politically, legally and financially. GREATER HOUSTON EDITION Trump cont’d most people say it is time to just call it what it is: RACISM! “The targeting of the African American community is not subtle,” Bob Bauer, legal adviser to Presidentelect Joe Biden’s campaign, said. “I think it’s quite remarkable how brazen that is. It’s very, very disturbing.” Trump’s “elections fraud” claims focused on cities with large Black populations, and it should be noted that he also lost in places
outside the urban centers of battleground states. In suburban counties in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Biden improved his margin of victory by nearly 6 percentage points, compared to Hillary Clinton in 2016, or a combined 361,000 votes. According to reports, in urban counties with more than 1 million population, Biden’s margin increased just 1.6 points, or 193,000 votes, relative to Clinton. In Pennsylvania, the
November 29, 2020 most hotly contested state, those suburban voters alone were enough to flip the state to Biden. If you need more clear proof of Trump’s team attacking Black voters, just look at how they targeted Detroit, a city that is 79% Black. Two Republican members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers initially refused to certify the Nov. 3 election results, claiming the vote in Detroit was suspect, and the Republican chairwoman of the board, Monica Palmer, said during the
debate that she would be open to certifying the vote in “communities other than Detroit.” The members of that board reversed their decision after the NAACP came out publicly against them, releasing a public statement saying, “Shame on you. Shame on you!” Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney, has repeatedly accused Philadelphia, Detroit and other “Black” cities of being run by corrupt political machines with a history of election fraud. Of course, none of this has been proven and Trump’s string of lawsuits filed have been either rejected or dismissed. What did Michelle Obama say? “It is what it is.” Being a true leader is as much about how you FINISH, as how you START. If Trump were a schoolboy, would we chastise him for being a
“sore loser?” We think most adults, educators and parents would agree that we would. So, again. We go back to the original question, “what have you got to lose?” The answer is – “you already lost it – your damn dignity.” The votes have been counted. Democracy still has its place in America. You have to expect things like that as reactions. “If you are a Black person who’s lived in the Black community all of your life and walk out on the street every day seeing White policemen surrounding you. When I was living in Los Angeles, for instance, long before the situation in LA ever occurred, I was constantly stopped. No, the police didn’t know who I was, but I was a Black woman and I had a natural [natural hair Afro], and they thought that I might have been a militant and when
November 29, 2020 you live under a situation like that constantly, and then you ask me, whether I approve of violence? That doesn’t make sense at all. Whether I approve of guns? I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. Some very, very good friends of mine were killed by bombs that were planted by racists. From the time I was very small, I remember the sounds of bombs exploding across the street and our house shaking. I remember my father having to have guns at his disposal at all times because of the fact that at any moment, we might expect to be attacked. “The man at the time who was in charge of
the city government, his name was Bull Connor, would often get on the radio and make statements like, ‘Niggers have moved into a white neighborhood, we better expect some bloodshed tonight,’ and sure enough, there would be bloodshed. “After the four young girls[were killed], one of them lived next door to me and I was very good friends with the sister of another one, my sister was very good friends with all three of them, my mother taught one of them in her class. In fact, when the bombing occurred, one of the mothers of one of the young girls called my mother and said, ‘Can you take me down to the church to
pick up Carol, we heard about the bombing and I don’t have my car.’ And they went down there, and what did they find? They found limbs and heads strewn all over the place. And then after that, all of the men in my neighborhood organized themselves into an armed patrol. They had to take their guns and patrol our community every night because they did not want that to happen again. “That’s why when someone asks me about violence, I just find it incredible. Because what that means is the person who is asking that question has no idea what Black people have gone through. What Black people have experienced in this country since the time the first Black person was kidnapped from the shores of Africa.” Angela Yvonne Davis is an American political activist, philosopher, academic, and author. Ideologically a Marxist, Davis was a longtime member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and is a founding member of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. She’s authored over ten books on class, feminism, race, and the US prison system. Af-

ter guns she purchased were used by others in a deadly shooting, FBI director J. Edgar Hoover listed Davis on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List. She was later freed of charges. Music legends John Lennon, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones all paid tribute to Davis in songs. She’s received multiple awards in her lifetime, including 1971 Time Magazine “Woman of the Year” and Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020. Davis has also been inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame. Today is not about the Democrats or the Republicans. It is about the Black man and woman trusting in themselves to do the right thing. Educate your mind and lean into thine own understanding. And when you fight for freedom for your
futures, fight for the innocent who were murdered in the past. Never forget the “Four Little Black Girls” Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Carol Denise McNair who died on September 15, 1963 when four members of the Ku Klux Klan Thomas Blanton, Robert Chambliss, Bobby Cherry and Herman Cash -- planted 19 sticks of dynamite attached to a timing device beneath the steps on the east side of the 16th Street Baptist Church. These are the girls Davis were talking about, and their deaths are part of the reason she joined the revolution so many whites are afraid of. What’s your WHY? Do you know? Think about it. - AANI

Dinkins cont’d Before entering politics, Dinkins was among the more than 20,000 Montford Point Marines. He graduated cum laude from Howard University and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and maintained a private law practice from 1956 to 1975. The soft-spoken, bow-tie-wearing trailblazer became part of an influential group of African American politicians that included Denny Farrell, Percy Sutton, Basil Paterson, and Charles Rangel; the latter three together with Dinkins were known as the “Gang of Four.” Dinkins was one of 50 African American investors who helped Percy Sutton found Inner City Broadcasting Corporation in 1971. On November 7, 1989, Dinkins was elected mayor of New York City, defeating three-term incumbent Mayor Ed Koch and two others in the Democratic primary and Republican nominee Rudy Giuliani in the general election. He was elected in the wake of a corruption scandal that involved several New York City Democratic leaders. The crime rate in New York City had risen alarmingly during the 1980s, and the rate of homicide reached an all-time high during the first year of the Dinkins adminis-
tration. Dinkins was criticized for supposedly not being able to control crime, even though the rates of most crimes, including all categories of violent crime, declined during the remainder of his four-year term. During his final days in office, the Dinkins administration made a deal with the US Open that brings more economic benefit to the City of New York each year than the New York Yankees, New York Mets, New York Knicks, and New York Rangers combined. The city’s revenue-producing events Fashion Week, Restaurant Week, and Broadway on Broadway were all created under Dinkins. Dinkins went on to become a professor of public policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He also served as a board member for several organizations, including the United States Tennis Association and the Children’s Health Fund, and was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the first Black intercollegiate Greek-lettered fraternity in the US. Dinkins is survived by two children and two grandchildren. His wife, Joyce Dinkins, former first lady of New York City, passed away on October 11 at age 89. - AANI
