FIU researchers are developing quantum models and autonomous agents capable of identifying cyberattacks and network threats in real time, achieving improved detection performance compared to traditional systems. The Post Quantum Cryptography [PQC] project critically addresses the urgent gap between quantum-vulnerable ECC-based C-V2X standards and the real-time constraints of transportation systems by advancing AI-enabled PostQuantum Cryptography that preserves security without compromising latency, bandwidth, or operational safety.
