Cleaning Shoe setup •

Chaffer and Sieve correct •

If screen says 5mm, check its physically 5mm.

•

Use 5mm / 15mm sieve tool to check

•

If not exact, favour more open then closed

•

Manual Pre-cleaner on 25mm set and forget but please check daily

•

In brittle stalky crops, watch for tailings overloading •

•

Flat tooth Chaffer (FTC) minimizes this

Golden rule: Open chaffer and increase fan speed to suspend MOG and let grain in.

Power Shut Down Procedure Un even shoe loading With an X9 is caused by either of the following  Concave not level from left to right rotor  Incorrect number of separator covers from left to right

Power Shut Down Procedure

High volume of Chaff causes shoe grain loss Caused by either of the following  Requires Separator cover to be installed  Too aggressive on crop flow settings (Feed Acel to be on slow, open concave, Slower rotor speed)

 Fan Speed too low, Chaffer too closed

ProDrive XL

Gear Range

Transmission Range Set your transmission range to an acceptable field operating range. Typically, fast enough to turn in the headlands but not a large range as that makes multifunction lever speed matching during disengagement rougher.

Recommendation is to set Range 1 no faster than 12kph (7.5mph) maximum unless crop is thin and higher speeds are required.

X9 Dual Separator (XDS) Drive Gearcase Fuse Timing A/B and A/C

IMPORTANT: Only remove the indicated parts as shown. DO NOT remove the bearing setting cover or the retention hardware. Failure to follow the procedure can result in a complete gear case failure. Remove the service plug (A) from the rotor drive gear case. Remove snap ring (B). NOTE: To remove the outer fuse shaft, use an M16 x125 cap screw. Remove the outer fuse shaft (C).NOTE: To remove the inner fuse shaft, use an M10 x150 cap screw. Remove the inner fuse shaft (D).

WHEAT TIPS AND TRICKS • Reel pitch in middle position • Slow down or stop top cross augers • Feed drum handle in middle position • Feed drum speed slow – try high for high yields • Feeder house speed slow / small cog – try high large cog for high yields be mindful of wear rate • Feed accelerator 2nd gear • Rotors 3rd gear • Tailings on wheat • Pre cleaner on 25mm – double check • One sep cover in – try two in hot dry conditions • Chopper on wheat / high speed

26

CANOLA TIPS AND TRICKS • Reel pitch in least aggressive position and keep reel bar out of crop • Cross augers match draper speed or slightly faster – faster draper speed • Feed drum handle in bottom position • Feed drum speed high • Feeder house speed high - large cog • Feed accelerator 2nd gear • Rotors 2nd gear – no slower the 500 rpm unless very dry or light • Tailings on corn • Pre cleaner on 25mm – double check • Two sep covers in • Chopper on wheat • Emu needs to be ripe – if cannot get loss or throughput under control come back to it

LUPINS TIPS AND TRICKS • Reel pitch in least aggressive position – work back from here to pull crop without shatter • Cross augers match draper speed • Feed drum handle in middle position – top position for light crop to sweep floor • Feed drum speed slow • Feeder house speed slow / small cog • Feed accelerator 1st gear • Rotors 2nd gear • Tailings on corn • Pre cleaner on 25mm – double check • Two sep covers in – shoe loading is massive • Chopper on wheat – for extra fine cut run in slow / corn
