Purpose of the Parent DIS Way

A t Deira International School, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are fundamental to the success and wellbeing of every child.

We will:

• Listen to and value your perspectives as part of our school community.

We ask that parents:

• Respect everyone in the school community, including teachers, site staff and security personnel.

• Communicate respectfully in all interactions including emails, meetings and phone calls.

• Be respectful of others’ time. For example, by being punctual to school events, meetings and responding to communication in a timely manner.

• Take pride in our school and model respectful behaviour to children.

• Celebrate and encourage respectful actions at home and at school.

EXCELLENCE

We ask that parents:

We ask that parents:

• Engage positively with school communication, meetings and parent events.

• Recognise that your involvement is essential to your child’s success and wellbeing. A strong partnership between home and school relies on mutual investment.

• Support the school’s partnerships beyond the classroom, including enrichment and community initiatives.

• Celebrate when your child shows kindness, cooperation and teamwork.

• Attend parent teacher conferences and school events to stay connected with your child’s progress. Regularly engage with school platforms such as Seesaw, Go4Schools and school communications to stay informed.

• Take responsibility and act with care in the best interests of each child.

We ask that parents:
