GOPA IN UKRAINE
On May 1, 2025, GOPA officially launched GOPA Ukraine, its dedicated office in Kyiv. With quick access to a fully equipped shelter facility, the location ensures uninterrupted operations even in times of instability.
The opening of GOPA Ukraine reflects GOPA’s strategic longterm vision for sustainable engagement in Eastern Europe. This significantly strengthens our operational presence in the region and demonstrates our firm commitment to supporting Ukraine’s recovery, resilience, and development.
Establishing a permanent presence allows GOPA to respond swiftly to emerging needs, forge closer partnerships with local stakeholders, and ensure that technical expertise is delivered where it matters most. GOPA Ukraine is designed to serve as a key platform for delivering high-quality advisory services and facilitating long-term cooperation between international investors, development institutions, and Ukraine’s public and private sectors.
GOPA has been implementing projects in Ukraine for more than 30 years, including technical assistance on infrastructure, governance & economic development as well as financial management support.
Currently, GOPA is managing eight advisory projects in Ukraine. In the infrastructure sector, GOPA is engaged in large-scale projects with total investments amounting to several hundred million euros. In the financial sector, GOPA facilitates investments in the economy and energy sector of EIB & EIF, as well as EFSE.
