Designed as both refuge and resource, the project offers hikers a moment of rest while inviting exploration and education for all ages. It is a space where environment and architecture intertwine, allowing the journey to continue rooted in place, yet always unfolding.
Arbor Path is deisgned to extend the experience of hiking beyond the landscape and into the built environment. Located along the Rocky Neck, CT, trail, the project takes on the form of a tree, using branching spatial organization to guide visitors through a sequence of destinations.
Work must be done by one’s self. While we aim for connection everyday, whether that may be friends or family, there must be a time for solitude and refinement.
The design of this workpod is designed for the individual who thrives in chaos and creative workflow, yet needs time to get work done in solidarity. To reflect this, the workpod takes the appearance of a timless and calming aesthetic with the use of vibrant colors and vintage texture.
Design Strategy & Focus
An important feauture of this project ins the acoustic panels. Because this workpod is deisgned for a singular person, ease of wo rkflow and noise reduction were at the forefront of this deisgn. The design choice used foro the acoustic panels aided in fortifying the timeless and peaceful design.
Inspired by the theme Dreamscape, a surreal world where reality and imagination blur, the design draws on the comfort and wonder of childhood dreaming.
These elements are translated into a cohesive environment that fosters ease, curiosity, and emotional wellbeing for children, families, and staff.This pediatric renovation uses environmental design to create a space that feels reassuring, engaging, and safe.
The materials listed were meticulously chosen to withstand the chemical used to clean healthcare settings as well as withstand spillage and organic fluid, and minimize the spread of contamination
Nexus, defined as “a connection or link between things, persons, or events, especially that is or a part of a chain of causation”, in conjuction with the word curcuit was used to inspire a functional and fluid work and living space for artists
The life and workplace of an artiat requires fluidity and room for creativity. In addition to this, artists create in groups, pairs and singular volumes. In a multi-purpose establishment such as this, the different atriums and viwepoints allow for artists to feel connected throughout the building regardless of the floor they find themselves in.
A demonstration of my expertise in Rhino3D to Adobe Creative Suite workflow. In this project, the focus is to draw attention to beauty with nature and surrealism; to combat and challenge Man vs Nature.
What started out at a 2D piece of the floor plan of Titus, transformed into a surrealist adventure that thrives on color and abstract shapes. Through the progression of the piece, the viewer will experience a transformation of the ordinary to grand wonder with the help of iterations and final product.
