ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Lenny & Millie Foundation (TLMF) was created in memory of Mildred Frances Bannister Whipple aka “Millie” and Lennox Malik Edwards aka “Lenny.” “Millie” passed away in 2019 from pancreatic cancer. A short time thereafter in 2020, “Lenny” our first grandson passed away way too soon from SIDS at the age of 5 months old. It was through our loss and grief that the vision was given to educate as many people as we can about SIDS as well as educating those in need from all walks of life about the importance of reading. “Millie” penned her first children’s book entitled “The Adventures of Lenny the Legless Lizard.” Her purpose for the book was to encourage readers to face any challenge with confidence, rather than give up and remain fearful of the unknown.

Through education and development we will provide and offer our youth, young adults, single parents and famillies in the community with personal, physical, social, spiritual and economic empowerment.

The Legal Champ

Born in the birthplace of hip-hop, Leslie T. Lumpkin Jr., known professionally as "The Legal Champ," has been immersed in the vibrant world of music since its inception. He wrote his first song in the 6th grade—a theme song for his elementary school—which is still sung by students today, a testament to the lasting impact of his creativity.

Growing up playing the alto saxophone and performing at an early age in a city rich with musical heritage, Leslie found his passion naturally evolving within the hip-hop landscape. His journey then took him to the West Coast during his formative years, where he developed a deep appreciation for the unique sounds and styles of West Coast music. For the past 20 years, Leslie has called Atlanta—the heart of hip-hop—his home, infusing the city's dynamic energy into his work. With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, he has cultivated a sound that resonates with audiences across t he nation and beyond. His music blends elements of spiritual gospel and spoken word, delivering powerful messages rooted in faith.

A man of strong beliefs, Leslie has always loved the Lord and has witnessed his faith evolve profoundly throughout his life....
