Adventure Sports Journal Issue #125 is all about sharing our love for the adventure lifestyle. Featured on the cover is champion distance runner Ku Stevens on the Genoa Falls Loop Trail during the Siren Run. Ku will be hosting the Remembrance Run on August 13th and 14th to honor the footsteps of his grandfather who escaped from a residential school that took Native children from their parents for nearly a century. We will be there to run over 50 miles in two days, from Yerington, Nevada to Carson City.
Also in this issue, we profile Paula Smith, a probation officer with a big heart who helps teens from the Washoe tribe discover the great outdoors. We also travel to Yosemite where the Yosemite Climbing Association is working hard to preserve the history of rock climbing in Yosemite Valley. Their second mission is to spread the joy of picking up trash in our National Parks through their Facelift events.
Plus much much more.
