This is New Zealand’s premier alpine instruction course. It has been developed by New Zealand’s pre-eminent guides for people with a desire to learn the latest and most relevant alpine climbing techniques.
We operate in Mt Cook, Westland and Mt Aspiring National Parks and we will run the course where conditions are best at the time.
You will gain experience on a variety of alpine routes, and upon the successful completion of the ACC you will have learnt safe climbing practices and be capable of utilising your skills to attempt ascents of many of the superb peaks within the New Zealand mountains, and further afield.
