The one and only Oktoberfest

The 2024 Living Pattern Survey is now open through Sep. 30!

On Saturday, Sep. 21, Munich mayor Dieter Reiter will tap the first beer barrel to declare Okotberfest or “Wiesn” — as Munich’s citizens call it — officially open. This year, the world-famous festival runs through October 6. It is the most famous event in Germany and the world’s largest fair, with some six million people attending every year. The survey is open once every three years to determine where service members shop and how they allocate their purchases between local markets, U.S. Government, and online shopping facilities. The survey can also lead to increases or reductions of OCOLA rates year-to-year.
