Welcome to our annual production sale and after 30 years of being in the Registered Red Angus seed stock business, we have made the decision to change our sale format from Private Treaty to Live Auction. This was a big decision for our family and after making the commitment, we are excited. Our program and customer base was built around our private treaty bull sale and has been nothing short of great for us. Over the years we have worked hard to raise a product, a set of bulls, and a cowherd that not only takes care of us but will also meet the needs of our customers as well. I’ve always said I want to treat our customers the way I would like to be treated and taking care of them after the sale of the bull has been our main focus here at Sandy Willow Red Angus.
Working directly in the livestock marketing industry has been a huge asset to our program in knowing what the industry is after. The buyers and the feedlots want high quality cattle that can gain and convert, while staying sound and ending up with a high-quality carcass at the plant. The Red Angus female is highly sought after for their universal mating options and how user friendly they are for any type of cow/calf operation.

Genomic Enhanced EPPD’s: All bulls in the sale are GGP 100k genomic tested and parent verified.
Semen Interest: Sandy Willow Red Angus will be retaining 50% semen interest in all sale bulls with buyer getting full possession.
Feeding: Bulls will be kept and fed free of charge until mid-April. At this time all bulls will be fertility tested by Dr. Nate Iliff, Sisseton Vet Clinic prior to delivery.
Sale Terms + Conditions: Cattle sells under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the Red Angus Association of America.
Health: All bulls are in good health and vaccinated thoroughly throughout their life with complete vaccination protocol in the spring going to grass, fall precondition, boostered @ weaning. At semen test time the bulls will be boostered with an Express 5 VL5 HB, vision 7, pinkeye + magnet + wormed with Dectomax. Complete detailed protocol available if needed.

Food:Complementary Beef lunch/supper will be served on the day of the sale along with rolls + coffee prior.
Guarantee: Bulls in the sale are guaranteed to breed. Prior to delivery a breeding soundness-fertility test will be done. If any bulls don’t pass an exam, a full refund of purchase price, credit, or replacement of equal value will be available. All our bulls carry a first breeding season guarantee (90 days from turnout) if they are taken care of properly. We want your cows bred and will completely stand behind them like we have for the past 30 years.
Delivery: Free Delivery on all bulls up to 300 miles and will assist the best we can above that and help you make arrangements. In 30 years, we have never handed anyone a trucking bill.
INSURANCE: Mortality insurance will be available on sale day. Cost of the insurance is 4.63% for 6 months and 7% for 1 year. Sandy Willow Red Angus will pay 50% of this premium if you choose to purchase. Premium will be collected by sale clerk.

I would say this Prosperity son is the most powerful threestar heifer bull in the offering! He started with an 84# birth. Explosive growth is in this cow family.
