We are excited to present this year’s offering, featuring 90 head of purebred Simmental and SimAngus bulls, along with 28 bred heifers. This set offers something for everyone—from high-quality growth bulls to proven heifer bulls. These cattle come from the 300-head Simmental herd we have built over the years, with a strong emphasis on consistency and realworld performance. Our program remains focused on producing cattle that work for our commercial customers. We believe the combination of acceptable calving ease and birth weight, paired with high growth and strong maternal backing, is the foundation of a successful cow herd. We feel this year’s bulls and bred heifers are a true reflection of that commitment.
We truly want these bulls to work for you long after sale day. We will keep bulls free of charge until April 1st, after which delivery will be arranged. We also stand behind our cattle and are willing to work with our customers to resolve any issues that may arise. This marks our third year hosting the sale at our new facility, and we look forward to welcoming you on February 17th. This Special Ops son leads off our sire group, and we have been extremely impressed with the consistency and look in this calf crop. He is one of two flush brothers out of the D662 donor, who has been a cornerstone in our program for years. That cow has raised bulls like QB Dialed In, QB Black Gold, QB Imprint, and QB First Draft, and she stamps them with quality every time. Crossed on Special Ops, this bull offers extra size, eye appeal, and a very correct build. He is arguably the smoothest moving calf in the entire pen.

This is the bigger of the two flush brothers and he reads as a true power bull. He posted a weaning weight just over 800 pounds, showing the kind of growth that will push the scales down. He is long-bodied, deep-sided, and carries a really big, square hip. When you study him from the ground up, it is very hard to find a hole in this calf.

This calf ranks in the top 1% of the breed in seven different EPDs, giving him a standout genetic profile. His 11-year-old dam is still working in the herd with a 366-day calving interval and eight calves reported, six of them bulls. Four of those six bulls have already sold through this sale, showing how consistent this cow family is. A full brother to this calf sold for $12,500 to Gulleson Ranch.

This bull is out of a really nice Grade Break daughter that has done very well at a young age. As a coming 5-year-old, she has already raised three calves, including a bull that sold in last year’s sale. Her calves average a 104 yearling weight ratio, showing consistent performance. We start this group with a flush calf out of the long-staying B452 cow, who raised one of last year’s high sellers that went to TNT Simmentals and Crosshair Simmentals. This calf is out of a good cow we bought from Martin Simmental a few years ago, bringing some useful outcross potential to the program. This calf has been one of our favorites all year. He is out of one of our newer flush cows, who raised last year’s high seller that went to Goss Performance Simmentals for $30,000. She has also produced QB Portfolio and QB Advantage, adding even more strength to this pedigree. He is an extremely complete bull with a lot of growth, posting an 824-pound weaning weight and a 1,594-pound yearling weight. This solid black bull has a lot of herd bull potential.

The natural calf out of the K193 flush cow we bought from Keller’s a couple of years ago, this bull comes with a strong donor-backed pedigree. He is a true herd bull prospect with an excellent EPD profile, ranking in the top 10% for API, TI, WW, YW, MCE, STAY, and MARB. He has plenty of frame, with extra size, shape, and muscle expression. The F845 cow always stamps her calves with a really attractive side profile, and this calf is no exception. He has a lot of style and balance and moves out very free and easy with a long, fluid stride. He is square-hipped, level-topped, and very eyeappealing from every angle. With a big scrotal, this calf will cover a lot of cows and get out and work in a large pasture.
What are your priorities? This is where we always start with developing a set of bulls. When Jason answered this question the first thing he said was to “keep them sound”. These cattle have consumed a diet that focused on utilizing high-quality roughages to assemble a palatable and uniform diet. Here is a flush calf out of the K193 donor that has really performed. Sadly, he is the only one we got from this mating this year, but a full brother sold to Kegley Simmentals last year. This bull possesses excellent length and depth of body with a strong, attractive profile. We are really excited about the potential this calf brings to the table.

This calf has been a dude since birth and has always been the clear standout in the pen. I’ll admit he comes with a higher birth weight, but the amount of growth and performance he brings, combined with his eye appeal and the way he gets out and moves, is truly impressive. This calf has done everything right, starting with a 94-pound birth weight, an 808-pound weaning weight, and a 1,440-pound yearling weight. The Geronimo sire group is newer for us, coming out of a bull we bought from Rydeen Simmentals and co-own with Triple H Simmentals. This is the lowest percentage calf in the pen, but he has the most frame and the most room for growth. He reads in the top 30% for both API and TI, which should help his value on paper. He is a pretty neat outcross option for someone looking to change up their genetics a bit.

Wibaux is a new herd sire we bought from Beggars Diamond V, and he has seemed to make them right so far. This calf is well put together and still shows good performance, weaning off at 833 pounds. This bull is out of a first calf heifer that Jocelyn bought from Hansen Simmentals off the state sale last year. I wish we had more Discovery calves from the bull we sold to Triple H Simmentals a number of years ago. This calf is a large framed, long made bull with plenty of growth, gaining 4.22 pounds a day, weaning at 856, and posting a yearling weight over 1500. His dam puts a lot of growth into her calves, with a 107 weaning ratio and 102 yearling ratios. She also has a solid 366 day calving interval, which helps back this one with a dependable cow line.

This calf is out of one of Cooper’s cows and has been the nicest red calf here all year. The dam has done well for him, including selling a bull in last year’s sale to Cody Gentzkow. Architect was our heifer bull of choice this year, and the mating worked, giving us a very even set of calves. This one starts the group as the heaviest weaning weight calf at 811 pounds. He is a level made, balanced kind of bull that doesn’t get too extreme. Within the sire group, he does a nice job of setting himself apart on both look and performance.

GENERAL INFORMATION HERD HEALTH The bulls for sale received vaccination against the major respiratory, clostridial and reproductive diseases. They have all been fully vaccinated for IBR, BRSV, BVD Types 1 & 2, PI3 and Histophilus as well as Mannheimia/Pastuerella and Mycoplasma. The bulls have been treated for internal and external parasites using approved products. Bulls have all recieved a magnet. Bulls will pass a breeding soundness exam prior to delivery and receive 2 doses of Fusogard (footrot) as well as Anthrax, Pinkeye and Virashield 6 VL5HB vaccination upon delivery. The bred heifers were vaccinated identically to the bulls prior to breeding and included the additional two doses of reproductive vaccination for Leptospirosis and Campylobacter (PregGuard Gold FP10). They will have received 2 doses of ScourBos 9 as well by sale day. GENETIC TESTING All bulls have been GPP 100K tested which includes parentage validation and the resultant data incorporated into their EPD records. SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS All cattle will sell under terms and conditions adopted by the American Simmental Association. Each animal becomes property and therefore is also at the risk of the purchaser after sold. We guarantee all bulls are healthy on sale day. For animals not going home sale day, we suggest insuring. We will feed the bulls until April 1st free of charge. After April 1st, if the buyer can’t receive the animal, we will charge a per-day feed charge. All of the bulls will undergo a breeding soundness exam before delivery around April 1st. All bulls are guaranteed for fertility and genetic soundness for the first breeding season. If a bull does not pass the semen test or is injured before delivery, we will provide either a credit or a refund. This guarantee does not cover injuries such as broken legs, infectious diseases, mismanagement, neglect, frozen scrotal conditions, or hoof rot. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to consider insuring your bulls. If a bull is found to be unsound due to a genetically caused condition in the following year, we will stand behind him with the same level of commitment. We encourage you to reach out to us as soon as an issue arises, rather than waiting until after the breeding season, so we can promptly assess the situation. Our vet may need to evaluate the bull or review photos to determine the best course of action. SEMEN INTEREST Quandt Cattle Company are selling all bulls in their entirety. Full possession, and 100% semen interest in all bulls will be sold. Quandt Cattle Company does reserve the right to in-herd use semen on any bull in the sale, at the cost of collection. Should the need arise for us to collect semen on a bull in your possession, it would be done at our expense and your convenience. ONLINE BIDDING Can’t make the sale? YEARLING WEIGHTS & SCROTAL MEASUREMENTS Weights and measurements were taken by Dr. Colin Galbreath on 1/2/2026 & 1/9/2026. The scrotal measurements were adjusted to yearling, and sometimes will vary one way or another as actual yearlings. of In loving memory Grandma B.
This year’s sale feels a little emptier as we honor the loss of our beloved Grandma Bernie — a true cornerstone of our family. She stood faithfully beside Grandpa Walt through a lifetime of farming and ranching, always ready to dig in wherever help was needed. Ranch life wasn’t just something she supported — it was something she truly lived. Grandma Bernie never missed a beat. She came to every bull sale, branding, and cattle event, just as she did for her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s sporting events, milestones, birthdays, and anniversaries. She loved to talk “shop” with ranchers and farmers, had a way of striking up a conversation with anyone, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. And if you saw that proud little smirk on her face, you knew she was right where she wanted to be. She especially loved going out to look at cows with Grandpa Walt, often teasing the boys that she liked the red ones best — particularly a cute red baldy. If you ever attended one of our sales, you may have heard her familiar prayer, “God’s neat and let’s eat,” or noticed her quietly watching with pride. Her hands fed us, her faith guided us, and her love will live on through each of us. We take comfort knowing she is reunited with Grandpa Walt and watching over not only our herd of cattle, but our herd of family as well. This is simply goodbye for now. We will continue to live life to the fullest, follow our faith, and strive every day to fill the big shoes Grandma B left behind.
