Welcome back to the North Star Classic for our 26th year here at the ND Winter Show Event Center. We are once again so excited to have you all in the barns and are looking forward to this year being a huge success!
I am in my 5th season here at the ND Winter Show Event Center. It’s been an eventful 5 years, and I am excited to see what the future holds for the Winter Show Event Center. As we head into North Star Classic this year, Kelcey Hoffmann & Jaci Cargo are back with us as the Event Coordinators. As always, these ladies, their families, and crew of workers, have put in tons of time and effort planning this year’s Classic for you all to enjoy. I would like to personally thank the businesses, cattlemen & ranches that sponsored, advertised, and donated. There are some great packages available to purchase during the Cattlemen’s Ball & Sale, get your bidding hands ready! This event could not happen without your support. This will be a great weekend for our cattle and the ag industry. I hope you all enjoy seeing old & new friends, do some shopping with our vendors and enjoy the various breed shows & sale.
I hope you enjoy the Classic, making new memories and reliving past ones! We are so happy to have the barn filled with cattle and to have you all participating!
Thanks Again & See You Soon,
Brandee D. Moore
General Manager, ND Winter Show
It is with great pride that we welcome you to the 26th North Star Classic at the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center. Over the years, this event has grown and evolved, yet we remain committed to the traditions established by the original NSC Livestock Committee. The North Star Classic is more than a premier cattle show—it’s a place where connections are made, memories are shared, and friendships, both old and new, come together under one roof.
Many of us can look back on stories and relationships formed in this very barn that have lasted for decades. With our own long history at the Classic, we are honored to continue these meaningful traditions for the next generation.
Cattle from across North Dakota and surrounding states will begin arriving Wednesday afternoon in preparation for the Open Show, which launches the weekend on Friday, December 5th. That evening, we invite you to join us for the Honoree Social, welcoming past Livestock Honorees and their families, followed by the Cattlemen’s Ball & Sale in the South Exhibit Building. Enjoy a Prime Rib Dinner, raffle drawing, and the opportunity to celebrate our 2025 Livestock Honoree, Deb Hatlewick.
This year’s Cattlemen’s Ball & Sale once again features outstanding offerings—embryos, flush opportunities, live lots, and unique packages designed to create lasting memories. We extend our sincere appreciation to our consignors and to everyone who generously contributed to make this an event no one will want to miss.
Saturday is action-packed with youth events, including the Fairest of Them All Show, Judging Contest, Showmanship competitions, and the Open Pen Show.
We wrap up the weekend on Sunday with the Hubbard Feeds/ Showrite Junior Breeding Heifer Show and the AgCountry Prospect Show.
Throughout the show, we invite you to browse the Vendor Show, visit with exhibitors, and experience all the traditions and hospitality that make the North Star Classic special.
This event is truly a highlight of our year. Thank you to the exhibitors, sponsors, consignors, and dedicated crews who help make it all possible. We are committed to providing an unforgettable weekend and are grateful to share it with you.
Meet ya in the barns!

Buyer’s choice of 3 embryos from 1 of the following 2 matings out of HWK Starring Now J107:

HWK Starring Now is consistently producing backdrop quality cattle! We are especially excited about the Platinum sired calves arriving this Spring. We are expecting an extra shot of power while maintaining that elite Starring Now signature look. And the Tecumseh X Starring Now calves are as hot and consistent as you will find. Bid with confidence and join us in the momentum surrounding this rising donor!

54B continues to be one of our lead donors. Her offspring continues to be in high demand topping our sale every year. She has over $150,000 in gross sales in our sale with 7 sons going to highlight this year's bull sale. She is moderate frame, super dark cherry red, and has a perfect dark black foot. She is the second high selling cow from the famous U2 dispersion for $55,000. Combining her with the $185,000 Bieber Jumpstart is a mating that will surely be a success. This will be the last embryos offered on 54B, so don’t miss this opportunity.

Blue Momma is the kind of donor you build a program around. She stems from generations of cattle that have proven themselves in both the show ring and the pasture, and she stamped that legacy once again by producing the 2025 North Dakota State Fair Champion Market Animal, winning all three shows in one week. A one time only opportunity to flush a proven champion producing female to the bull of your choice or make full sibs to one of the most dominant steers to come out of North Dakota in recent years.

Brian Fox 970-313-7724 | SELLING 3 EMBRYOS OUT OF GVC SHANIA 80Z by TJSC END GAME 61G | AMAA #: 503082 X 432898
We are excited to offer this set of 3 embryos out of one of the best to ever do it at Blind Badger Ranch in GVC Shania 80Z. Shania is closing in on one million dollars in lifetime sales, and shows no signs of slowing up.
Just this summer, she produced the fourth overall female at Maine Jr. Nationals. She has also produced other daughters that have won at every major stock show in the country. Shania can also kick out sons like BBR Kingston, who was a $40,000 valuation bull who in his first calf crop just this year has produced the Champion at Kansas City and countless high sellers.
This new mating to End Game will result in ¾ Maine cattle that will get you in the Maine Anjou game in a hurry.

Buyer’s choice of 3 sexed females embryos from 1 of the following 3 matings out of EXAR BLACKBIRD 4867:
1. 3 Sexed Females Embryos: Conley A1 X EXAR Blackbird 4867 | Reg # 20177675 X 17867438
2. 3 Sexed Females Embryos: PVF DLX Kingpin 0058 X EXAR Blackbird 4867 | Reg # 19812047 X 17867438
3. 3 Sexed Females Embryos: BNWZ Executive Decision 2219 X EXAR Blackbird 4867 | Reg # 20639239 X 17867438
4867 is our go to Angus donor at BBR. She consistently produces high quality stock that sell high, win, and generate dollars when they get into production.
Her most notable daughter thus far is BBR Blackbird 372J, the $50,000 selection by Sullivan Farms that went on to be the Champion Angus Female in Louisville in 2022 for Sara Sullivan.
Daughters by First Class and Roundtable have topped our Angus Division year in and year out. Not only does she work in the Angus ring, this year we sold Maine Angus daughters for high values out of Mafia, Kingston, and Made Man. You can rest assured, these embryos, once in production, are versatile to work in any breed you want them to.
The matings to A1, Kingpin, and Executive Decision are all matings we are anticipating this spring at BBR and this is our first time offering choice of these eggs. Get in on the front end of something special.
Take your choice of any of these 3 matings (3 sexed females embryos) to some of the hottest sires the Angus breed has to offer.

When many think of Deb Hatlewick, they think of a giver — a true livestock enthusiast and passionate youth advocate.
Deb grew up on a farm near LaMoure, North Dakota, where she developed her love for agriculture through active involvement in 4-H and showing livestock. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong commitment to youth, livestock, and production agriculture.
For many years, Deb has been an integral part of the North Dakota Angus Association, contributing her time and leadership in countless ways — from helping coordinate the North Star Classic Angus Sale to serving as an advisor to the Junior Angus Association. Her dedication has played a key role in helping the North Star Classic thrive and grow.

Together with her family, Deb operates a farming and cattle operation where hard work, integrity, and a love for livestock are a part of everyday life. She has instilled those same values in her children, involving them in all aspects of their operation and encouraging their participation in youth agriculture programs.
Beyond her own family’s endeavors, Deb has served her community as a 4-H Coordinator, teacher, and advisor, always focused on helping the next generation succeed. She also organizes a local livestock show that gives area youth the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in a positive environment.
Deb Hatlewick’s unwavering support for agriculture, her leadership, and her generosity of spirit have left a lasting impact on North Dakota’s livestock industry and its young people. She truly embodies what it means to give back.
