Copper Tube – Refrigeration R410A

Manufactured to AS/NZS 1571, ACURA R410A copper tube is designed for high and low-pressure applications across air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. Our range includes sizes from 6.35 mm to 41.28 mm, available in multiple wall thicknesses to suit various installation requirements.

ACURA copper tube is supplied in hard-drawn straight lengths, bendable-quality straight lengths, and soft-drawn coils. Other specifications are also available upon request.

NBR

Insulation

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) insulation is a flexible, closed-cell elastomeric thermal insulation material used for air-conditioning, refrigeration, and chilled water pipe installations. It is also suitable for reducing thermal losses in heating and plumbing systems.

Manufactured from synthetic rubber, NBR insulation offers higher material strength than many other elastomeric insulation products, with a typical density range of 60–70 kg/m³. Combined with its competitive cost, this makes NBR a practical and cost-effective energy-saving solution across a wide range of applications.

Thermoloc Ferrules

Thermoloc ferrules are manufactured from lightweight cross-linked polyethylene foam. This makes them an excellent choice for HVAC chilled and refrigeration pipework where temperature control is critical. Their robust closed-cell structure resists water absorption, detergents, and other substances, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding environments. The material also absorbs pipe movement effectively and contributes to the system’s long-term durability.

With a sleek black finish, Thermoloc blends seamlessly with NBR insulation used in direct expansion pipework, delivering a uniform and professional look. It is also environmentally friendly, featuring low VOC emissions, zero Global Warming Potential (GWP), and no ozone-destroying agents such as CFCs or HCFCs.
