WALMART UNVEILS A NEW LAB STORE THAT USES AI

Walmart aims to redefine the customer experience in physical stores by creating a new concept store. Called the "Intelligent Retail Lab", this store is based on artificial intelligence to optimize its performance. With a surface area of more than 4600 m², the concept offers more than 30,000 items. The AI plays an important role in the replenishment of shelves. In fact, in this concept store, cameras are placed on the ceiling and powered by AI to monitor the status of the rays and analyze the consumer's behavior. This technology makes it possible to optimize the management of merchandising in real time and thus contribute to the efficiency of employees.

PRINT

SOFT PVC MATERIAL: WHEN GREENER MATERIAL CAN BE MORE COST EFFICIENT! We know that PVC is not a green material but it is still hard to replace completely. This innovation makes it a bit greener and… cheaper! This "soft PVC" material designed to be fixed to the floor or any other surface as a cover is innovative and has many advantages. Indeed, the material does not need anti-slip lamination (varnish layer to prevent slipping). In addition, this PVC soft is printed in the same manner as a window sticker (printed from the reverse side) to protect the ink from all types of contact. This process is innovative for the following reasons: • Less energy used (shorter process time) • Less raw material => More attractive costs and a more ecological product

PUMA TO INSTALL INTERACTIVE GAMING ZONES IN SPORTS STORES

The installation has been designed to appeal to football obsessed teens, and their patterns of decision making and impulse purchasing. It offers a combination of recognition technology, projection, and gaming to create an immersive experience in a bid to drive in-store trial of products, and to increase brand recall and product consideration. During the fitting phase, digital displays show player statistics that merge online content and the physical space, to bring customers closer to Puma brand ambassadors. The trial phase encourages shoppers to put the boots to a full gaming test, with a live leader board showing how they perform, encouraging peer-to-peer competition and sharable moments.
