NEW YEAR, NEW COMPLEXION!

the ins and outs of getting a chemical peel

y

By Beauty Expert Christine Lewy ou might hear the term “chemical peel” and want to run for the hills, but I’m here to tell you that it’s not as intense as you might think, and the results are a whole lot more wonderful than you probably imagined. Think radiant, even glowing skin! A chemical peel is a facial treatment that is typically done on the face, neck and/or décolleté to remove the outermost layer of the skin. When it comes to exfoliating this outermost layer, this is key in radiant skin. How do you exfoliate? Either by mechanical means such as facial scrubs and microdermabrasion, or by chemical means, which as a plus usually penetrates deeper than a mechanical means of exfoliation. Chemical peels provide much needed exfoliation that works to improve skin texture, tone, and scaring. Depending on the active ingredient, you can choose a

peel that offers skin radiance, hydration, reduction in surface acne-causing bacteria, and more even skin tone. Some stronger peels work at even deeper levels of the skin for more dramatic results. A chemical peel can be done by a trained Esthetician or a medical provider such as a RN or MD. Estheticians provide lighter, more superficial peels that come with no to little downtime. Medical providers can give deeper peels that may require a couple days of downtime. What kind of downtime am I talking about? You will most likely not be “peeling” as badly as you think. Depending on the intensity of the peel you may experience redness or drying of the skin in the days to follow. You’ll want to have a good moisturizer and make sure to wear SPF if you’re going to be headed outside. Why get a peel? Think of your daily skincare routine like brushing your teeth, but the chemical peel/facial treatments like your trip to the dentist (except hopefully a lot more pleasant). Ask your provider what they recommend as a peel treatment for your skin goals. Recommendations can range from a one peel a week for 4 weeks, a monthly peel for skin maintenance, or deeper peels a few times a year. Nevertheless, chemical peels play an important role in achieving and maintaining the radiant glowing skin you’ve been dreaming of. Further questions about chemical peels or skincare? Chug COFFEE Coffee by Dennis McNabb, Active Media Contributing Writer Photos by Carly Carpenter Photography

W

ake up and smell the delicious coffee! The next time you are in Aurora visiting the adorable antique shops, or even if you’re just passing through, make sure to drive up and get some caffeinated goodness from Chug Coffee. You may love it so much that you’ll want to come to town just so you can stop in for a pick-me-up! This coffee cart location is brand new, having just opened in late summer of 2020, but the wonderful people who own and operate it are no strangers to the area. Samantha Ribb and her mom previously ran the R&R Cafe that used to be inside of the Wilsonville Subaru dealership. Things were going well and they were looking to expand and get into the drive-thru business. Everything was moving along with plans to open a supplemental location to the cafe... but then COVID struck. The dealership was forced to close the cafe to keep exposure at a minimum. As time progressed and they got all the necessary permits and forms approved, the new coffee-cart endeavor became more of a reality than the cafe, which was sadly never allowed

to reopen. Chalk it up to another casualty in the pandemic’s path of destruction. But while one door has closed for Sam, another has gently swung open. Chug Coffee is a passion project for her, and she is very excited to now be serving amazing coffee drinks and pastries in the Aurora community! Why the name “Chug,” you may ask? Well, Sam is a serious dog lover and her two “Chugs” (Chihuahua-Pug mixes) are the inspiration for the name. She wanted to incorporate them somehow into the theme of the business, and one day it dawned on her to use their breed name as a cute play on words. After all, who doesn’t need to “chug” a big cup of coffee early in the morning, right? The name fit perfectly, and the logo even includes the silhouette of her adorable little chug Jack! You’ll also notice when you visit that most of the specialty drinks they serve are either named after her dogs or inspired by them. There’s The Jack, The Lula, The Underbite, The Blue Dog Fog, Puppy Kisses, and Paws on the Beach; all of which are extremely clever and extremely delicious! They also feature two seasonal drinks, which recently were The Muttcracker (see what she did there?) and The Peppermint “Bark.” With a menu this whimsical and creative, not to mention tasty, how can you resist? For other dog parents who have their furbabies along for the trip, Chug Coffee even serves free whip cups for pups! Being more limited on space in a coffee cart, they can’t serve all the same sandwiches, soups and meals they used to provide at the cafe, but Sam’s standards for quality certainly have not waned just because the menu may be a bit more limited. Being true ambassadors of the local communities they live in and serve, they get everything they can from local companies. Their pastries come from Cookie Monkey in Portland, and their coffee beans come from Dillanos Coffee Roasters, located just a few hours up I-5 in Sumner, Washington. The blend they serve is a medium dark roast with a deliciously nutty, slightly chocolatey flavor. They also serve White Coffee, which is

10 • WILSONVILLE LIVING MAGAZINE • JANUARY 2021

something many of us may have never heard of, but definitely should try! Sam explains that White Coffee is brewed from beans that are only just lightly toasted which provides a significantly smoother, nuttier flavor to their profile. It’s the perfect solution for people who want to drink something coffee-ish, but aren’t necessarily big fans of espresso. She said this is a newer thing on the coffee scene in many parts of the country, but it’s very popular in the Northwest. Sam loves what she does and she truly enjoys concocting new and delicious flavors for her customers to enjoy. She is like the proverbial “mad scientist” when it comes to this part of her job, but when it has such delicious results, who can complain? She experiments with all sorts of different flavor combinations to get the perfect mixtures, making her menu extremely interesting and versatile. I, for one, can’t wait to try The Lula, which is white chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon, hazelnut, and a split shot of half regular espresso, half white. Or perhaps The Underbite, which is a dark chocolate mocha with a slight spicy kick. Hmm... decisions, decisions. They also have a nice selection of concoctions made with teas and energy drinks, as well as hot cocoa and italian sodas. Their energy drinks are of special note since they don’t use the typical brands full of synthetic ingredients, which often have a chemical flavor or leave a metallic aftertaste. At Chug, they only use Lotus Brand energy concentrates, which are plant-based and naturally crafted using botanicals, superfruits, and natural caffeine from

green coffee beans. The result is a healthier and tastier energy drink with no lingering metallic aftertaste. Of course, it wouldn’t be on the Chug Coffee menu if Sam hadn’t come up with some fun and fantastic flavor combinations. Puppy Kisses uses Pink Lotus Energy with coconut, guava, red raspberry and a splash of coconut milk, while Paws on the Beach consists of Blue Lotus Energy with passionfruit, pineapple, coconut, and coconut milk. They are absolutely delicious and a refreshing relief from the artificial energy drinks served elsewhere. Sam, her mom and her crew are local people who love the communities they live in and serve. Sam’s only complaint about her new endeavor is that it’s much more difficult for her to talk to her customers now, beyond the standard pleasantries that get passed through the window with your drink. Her favorite part of the job (besides being a flavor-mixing mad scientist) is getting to know her customers, and she is eagerly looking forward to getting out into the community once restrictions are lifted to start sponsoring local sports teams and participating in local fundraising activities. This is a local treasure of the highest order, so stop on by to support them and get a tasty treat in return! Chug Coffee is located at 21030 Hwy 99E in Aurora, near the South End Antique Mall. Find them on Facebook and Instagram (@ChugCoffee) for updates on specials, new seasonal flavors, and their new delivery option, Chug Jugs! ◾

raig Holbrook is well-known in his hometown of Canby and the surrounding areas for his love of the stage. He’s directed numerous productions at the Canby Fine Arts Center over the years, including Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and he’s performed in or worked backstage for numerous shows throughout the Portlandmetro area. But if you step into his woodshop, you’ll quickly see that the theater is not his only artistic passion. “I started doing carpentry from building sets,” Craig explained. “When you’re directing a play, a lot of times, the building of the set falls to you too.” While working at Portland Center Stage, he discovered “woodturning,” which is simply the craft of shaping wood using hand-held tools and a lathe. Just like a pottery wheel, a wood lathe can be used to create an almost infinite number of patterns, objects and designs. The prop mistress there would use a lathe to create custom table legs for productions. “Really anything custom that they needed like that, she’d create it on the lathe,” he recalled. “I thought that was really cool.”

writing utensils, including mechanical pencils, that are handmade at his home shop in Canby. “The beautiful thing about doing pens is it doesn’t take large amounts of material,” Craig said. The wood is cut to size – a small rectangle a few inches long – and a hole is drilled through the center to accommodate the brass tube that holds the ink chamber and other workings. Then the wood goes onto the lathe, and Craig goes to work. “The most important thing is to have sharp tools,” he quipped. “Second is Band-Aids.”

The most important thing is to have sharp tools. Second is Band-Aids.

He later watched a PBS special on woodturning and decided to give it a whirl. He found a lathe, bought some books, watched some YouTube videos and began teaching himself how to go about it. The result is Holbrook Pens - beautiful hand-crafted 14 • WILSONVILLE LIVING MAGAZINE • JANUARY 2021

”

His favorite part of the process is the thrill of discovery. Often the final product looks very different from the block it started out as. “Sometimes, you never know what you’re going to get until you start turning and put some finish on it, and then you just say, ‘Oh man, this is beautiful.’” Craig has passed the craft onto others, including his Cub Scout troop when he was a local den master. “I taught them to turn a pen for their moms on Mother’s Day,” he said. “The boys really liked it. They felt like they’d made something a lot better than the usual glued macaroni.”

You can find Holbrook Pens on Pinterest under the Blue Heron Woodworks board, or at Etsy.com. Also, be sure to follow Craig on Instagram (@craigholbrook1) to see more of his work and find out about theatrical goings on in the local area. ◾

CLARK LUMBER

HELPING TO BUILD OUR COMMUNITY Written By Dennis McNabb, Active Media Contributing Writer | Photos By Carly Carpenter

M

any of you may remember the Clark Lumber & True Value Hardware store in Tualatin. Yes, the Clark Lumber that was a seemingly permanent fixture of the city landscape dating all the way back to 1965. The store you came to know and love for all things lumber and hardware related, as well as its fantastic service. It’s also the store that tragically burned to the ground in 2016. That wasn’t the end of things for Clark Lumber, however. If you were unable to keep up with their journey after the fire, we are here to tell you the same Clark Lumber that area residents have relied on for decades is still here to serve you, and they’re better than ever. True to their brand and full of gumption, they turned tragedy into opportunity and rebuilt, albeit in a different location. Initially the plan was to simply rebuild at the site of their old building, but due to some unfortunate and unavoidable circumstances, they had to find a new location. They ultimately settled on a place on Tonquin Road that happens to be centrally located

between the surrounding communities they serve: Tualatin, Wilsonville, and Sherwood. Stacey Clark is the 4th generation owner of Clark Lumber, and she has quite a history to tell. Her grandfather and great-grandfather started the business long ago and passed it down through the generations. Stacey started working there with her father, Harvey, while she was still in high school, and continued through college. There was a short period of time where she considered possibly doing something else, but she quickly realized how special the family business and legacy was, and she has happily been there ever since. The store is such a point of pride for her entire family, and even employees who are not related by blood are still considered and treated like family. Anyone who has ever worked in a true “family business” can understand that, but it goes even further for Stacey. Harvey believed in the example set by his father and grandfather, who built the business on a foundation of hard work and dedication to their customers and community. Harvey carried on that philosophy until his death in 2018, and Stacey still upholds it to this day. Their family and company represent something that is unfortunately becoming all too rare in today’s world: a business made up of people who live in the community they serve, and who serve that community with sincerity. These are

neighbors helping neighbors. Stacey says that her father was the kind of guy who was there for everyone, all the time; always ready to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever he could. A testament to his generous nature manifested itself in 1996, when many areas of Tualatin were under water due to the heavy flooding that took place that year. Photos of their lumber yard at the time showed pieces of lumber floating all over their property, and the damage was immense. This time it was the Clarks, always ready to help others, who needed help themselves. As it turned out, more than 300 friends, family members, and community members (even competitors from other local hardware and lumber retailers) showed up unsolicited to help them clean up! Stacey grew up in this environment. This is what she knows. This is what she loves. And she is doing everything in her power to continue fostering that sense of true community spirit today. The new location, though they’ve been there 3 years now, is smaller than the original one in Tualatin. Unfortunately, that means they can’t carry quite as many items in stock as they used to - they simply don’t

have the square footage. However, they are still able to procure nearly anything they have ever carried; you may just need to order some items for delivery. Since they are still affiliated with the True Value brand, they can still provide the same quick turn-around time and the same competitive pricing as before. Most things can be available for pick-up within a few days for no extra cost. And speaking of pricing, one thing Stacey wants everyone to understand is that just because they are a smaller, local company, that does not mean they have higher prices than the big box stores. She says that with just a few exceptions, their prices are very comparable with the larger chain stores, and when it comes to customer service, there’s simply no question as to where you will have a better experience. That’s one of the perks of going to a local business like this. They can connect with you to help personalize your projects in ways that the box store chains wouldn’t dream of. Here is a great example: Stacey says that one of their customers came in requesting a coffin for their deceased family pet. You certainly can’t find those at just any old store, so one of her employees spoke with the customer about what they needed, and then fabricated something specifically for them. Initially, the customer had measured incorrectly and they had to make it twice, but that’s the kind of service you get at Clark Lumber.

Advanced Energy Services

THE WINDOW EXPERTS By Dennis McNabb, Active Media Contributing Writer

nergy efficiency in our homes is one of those things that most of us are vaguely aware of, but usually don’t address until it becomes unavoidable. When faced with the opportunity to upgrade, many of us can be guilty of short-sightedness as we pass over the slightly more expensive energy efficient models in favor of the lower priced ones. As all homeowners come to know, however, price is not the only important factor to consider when it comes to home maintenance... or at least it shouldn’t be. Many who choose the cheaper option will ultimately realize their mistake when, ironically, they end up paying a lot more in the long run due to

higher energy bills. Don’t make that mistake with your home! If you’re in the market to replace those drafty old aluminum windows and doors, the people to call are right here in Wilsonville at Advanced Energy Services.

can end up costing you a lot of extra time and money if the initial estimate was not done properly. This is why Julia & Mike Werner it’s so important to have an estimate done in person at your home for any repair work you’re planning to have done. The team at Advanced Energy Services is meticulous, and they spend an inordinate amount of time (5-6 hours typically) doing their homework to write up thorough, accurate, and free estimates for your projects. It’s during that process that they get to know you and learn what your specific needs are so they can provide the best service and products possible for the best comparative price. Mike has been doing this for over 40 years and he’s a true professional in the business. He first began in 1977 when he opened his first window installation/home improvement business with his father and brother in California. You will not find anyone who is better qualified or more dedicated to his craft, and even now Mike still spends every day with his crew on the jobsite working elbow to elbow to make sure every project they do measures up to his high standards. They’ve made all the recommended adjustments to keep their clients and staff safe at this time, including no-contact appointments, wearing masks, checking each employee’s temperature daily, and following every protocol set out by the state and the CDC. You can rest assured that not only will they do the job well, but that they’re also looking out for you while they do it.

Established in 2007 by Mike and Julia Werner, this family owned and operated business is run the way all businesses should be - with sincerity, honesty, and integrity. For any of you out there who’ve been burned by contractors in the past, you will understand how unique that is. It’s an unfortunate reality in the business that many contractors are unreliable. Not only does Advanced Energy Services deliver on all of their promises, but they do so while providing the best service in the business.

When you contact Advanced Energy Services, you can expect friendly service, free and thorough estimates, high quality professional work, and the guarantee of no price changes once the job has begun. To top all of that off, for a limited time they have a special offer: no money down and 12 months of interest-free financing! Why wait? Call them today to schedule your free estimate.

It all begins with the estimate, which is free, prompt, and provides accurate information tailored specifically for your home. Every home is different, and even identical model homes within a development can have slight variations in measurements, which

Advanced Energy Services is located at 9150 SW Pioneer Court, Ste D in Wilsonville. Give them a call at 503-765-9030, or visit their website at advancedenergyoregon.com for more information.

GOOD FOOD WITH NO ORGANIZATION LEADS TO A LOT OF STRESS ... By Dennis McNabb, Active Media Contributing Writer Photos by Dan Sanchez Photography

A

s the old adage states, “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.” That is the inspiration behind Arlene Anderson’s business Arlene Cuisine, an amazing A-Z, all-in-one event planning and catering service. After years of volunteering in a variety of capacities for both professional and personal events, it became evident that Arlene not only loved the work, but she was also exceptionally good at it. She began her own company tentatively in 2015, more as a hobby than an entrepreneurial venture, but it quickly turned into a full-fledged and burgeoning small business. In 2018, Arlene Cuisine officially became a fully licensed and insured LLC. When planning any sort of event, whether it’s an important dinner party, a wedding, a reception or an office party, the most critical ingredients are good food and good organization. Good food with no organization leads to a lot of stress, confusion, and potential catastrophes hovering in the wings. Conversely, good organization with bad food means people are comfortable knowing exactly what’s going on and where everything is including the garbage, which is where they are all headed to throw out their half-eaten meals!

The balance of these two factors can be exceptionally difficult to manage, and that’s why so many of us rely on an experienced professional to make it happen. Instead of pulling your hair out trying to put together a spectacular event all on your own, how about sitting down with the kindest, most considerate woman you could possibly meet to go over every last detail, and then entrusting her to make it happen? How about, once the decisions are made, keeping contact with that same woman throughout the entire process, and then having your event go off without a hitch because everything was superbly organized, surpassing your highest expectations? That is what Arlene Cuisine can do for you. On top of being the perfect solution to all of your event planning problems, Arlene Cuisine is also a local family-run business. Arlene is the mastermind behind the organization, and her husband Kip is her right-hand man and catering pit-master. He smokes a mean slab of meat that all your guests will be sure to enjoy! Her daughter Liz is also great at organization and helps out whenever she can behind-the-scenes. You may be wondering how a catering service survives during times like these. The answer, like for so many other businesses, involves a good deal of creativity that enables them to adjust and modify their business model. While Arlene is still open to catering for gatherings that abide by all recommended guidelines, she has also adopted a new avenue of business: home delivery! The concept is fairly straightforward. She cooks one family-style meal per week, typically consisting of 4 courses: an entrée, a starch, a vegetable, and a dessert. The meals are listed on her Facebook page, and if you like what you see, simply place your order by Tuesday and she will have it ready by Friday for either pick-up or delivery. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy a wonderful meal, without having any of the headache or stress of planning and preparing it yourself. Arlene plans a different meal every week, although the most popular ones will most likely make a return from time to time.

CONFUSION, AND POTENTIAL CATASTROPHES HOVERING IN THE WINGS Arlene is particularly interested in getting the word out about office and work events. She understands, of course, that many offices are closed or only running at partial capacity at this time. That said, meetings haven’t stopped completely, and everyone still needs to eat lunch, right? If your business is having a meeting and you’re considering getting take-out from one of the big chain restaurants who provide bland meals in bulk, why not instead consider Arlene Cuisine? Don’t settle for the same old boring thing. Give Arlene a call and let her whip up a special meal that everyone will love!

She even takes on the challenge of doing whimsical themed meals from time to time, as well, such as Caribbean Delight, Greek Week, and Oktoberfest Feast! Arlene excels in making the kinds of comfort food that we all grew up with and cherish; our favorite meals that mom always lovingly prepared, and that we will still drive hundreds or even thousands of miles to get home for during the holidays. They aren’t fancy, fussy “elevated” meals with tiny portions, just good old-fashioned hearty and delicious meals made to taste great!

In September, when so many of us were impacted by the terrible forest fires in the area, there were two events, one in Colton and one in Molalla, which were fundraising in support of the firefighters and also the families who had been evacuated. Not only did Arlene Cuisine show up to both events with their mobile kitchen/food cart, but they served free meals to all of those impacted families (both meals served on-site and also take-home meals). Their efforts helped to raise over $1700 for the cause! Arlene, her husband, and their crew are a true community treasure! Please contact Arlene Cuisine to get an amazing meal and help support this wonderful local business. Find them on Facebook, visit their website at ArleneCuisine.com, or call them at 503-776-9149. ◾

Arlene says with a big smile that she grew up on Betty Crocker, and though her food may reflect the nostalgia of that era and bring back memories of grandma’s kitchen, she makes everything from the highest quality and freshest ingredients. She has also recently started partnering with local businesses to procure her supplies, including Baker’s Prairie Bakery and B’s Bake Shoppe (both located in Canby). Both partners provide her with the best bread, rolls, and baked goods available in the area. If you have dietary restrictions, Arlene is always happy to make adjustments and accommodate her client’s needs! JANUARY 2021 • WILSONVILLE LIVING MAGAZINE • 29

REAL ESTATE IS HOT IN 2021! NOW IS THE TIME!

Despite the current economic difficulty and pandemic, real estate market conditions in the Portland area are as strong as they have ever been. If you’ve been considering selling your home, but were hesitant due to COVID (thinking, perhaps, that this would be a difficult time to sell), think again! It’s the hottest seller’s market we have seen! If there is any kind of silver lining to be found after going through such a tumultuous year, it is perhaps the realization that there is no time like the present to act. We’ve all heard some version of the old adage: “It’s the hardest times that teach us the most valuable lessons.” Well, I think most of us can agree that 2020 certainly fit that description, and as a result, we may begin 2021 having learned something meaningful. For many of us, that lesson may have involved getting out of our comfort zone of complacency. Why put off until tomorrow, what we can do today? Why wait another 5 years to learn an instrument, or go back to school, or find that dream home in the suburbs with the additional office space for more convenient remote working? As always, we can feel even better about making these decisions because we have Jaimy and Sherine Beltran and the entire team of superior agents at Beltran Properties Group here to help us through the process.

How Does a Global Pandemic Affect Local Real Estate?

If you’ve been following our previous updates, you’ll know that in recent

months we’ve been discussing the unusual state of the real estate market. Whereas the 4th quarter typically sees a big downturn in real estate sales, 2020 was quite the opposite. Sales in the 4th quarter were stronger than previous quarters, which was entirely unprecedented. The COVID-19 pandemic was, of course, a significant factor in all of this. It affected everything from sales to new constructions and even the supply chains used to build new homes, but whatever the reason, the fact remains that the market is still hot!

Sellers WIN by Selling High, Buyers WIN with Low Rates!

According to Jaimy, in Portland, they are now 5 months into their current trend of having less than 2 months of available inventory. That’s almost unheard of! Jaimy says he has never witnessed anything like it, in his 13+ year career here. What it means for home sellers is that there are very few houses on the market, and if you’re considering selling, there is a betterthan-average chance that you could sell very quickly and for more money. What it means for home buyers, is that it could be more difficult to find what you are looking for, and you may have to pay a little more, but at the same time the interest rates are so low that you will still ultimately pay less, this means affordability is at an all-time high, making it a fantastic time to buy! Of course, that also means it’s more important than ever to make sure you have a great agent to help you navigate these choppy waters, and get your offer accepted in this competitive market.

What's In Store? Look at the Stats!

The question now is this: what does 2021 look like going forward? According to Mike Rohrig, Director of Sales for Beltran Properties, the MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association of America) has forecasted interest rates to change very little over the next 2-3 years. They will increase, but only slightly and very slowly, reaching 3.3% by the end of 2021 and rising to 3.9% by the end of 2023. These are just forecasted numbers, mind you, but that means there is most likely not going to be a large increase any time soon. In addition, home prices are expected to remain strong. People tend to think prices fall during recessions, but that is not always the case. In fact, 3 out of the last 5 recessions have seen home prices increase. Mike and Jaimy both acknowledge that many of us have forgotten what was previously considered to be a known “rule” - that real estate is generally recession proof. It was the huge mortgage debacle in 2008 which caused the most recent (prior to COVID) and most serious of modern recessions, engendering so much insecurity in the real estate industry. The numbers indicate, however, that 2008 was the exception rather than the rule. Prices have remained strong during this recession, showing no sign of dropping any time soon, and in fact increasing 7.3% between October of 2019 and October of 2020. That makes the tally 4 out of the last 6 recessions to see gains in real estate prices. There are more positive factors to consider, as well, including the fact that

BPG Management Team (L to R): Ethan Frelly, Mike Rohrig, Sherine Beltran, Jaimy Beltran there are no waves of foreclosures expected during or after this current recession. There are several reasons for this: 1 - The banking industry learned a poignant lesson during the 2008 recession, and as a result, credit availability is now very low and loan qualifications are far more strict. 2 - The housing market already had a low inventory of available homes going into the pandemic. 3 - People currently have far more equity in their homes than they did in 2008. What that means for the market is that there are considerably fewer people who are upside down on their loans and the vast majority of people can sell for a price that covers their mortgage balances.

A Housing Shortage Means Opportunity for Sellers!

Not only are people in much better positions with their mortgages, but prices and value are remaining strong,

indicating a solid foundation for the market as we move deeper into 2021. Furthermore, at least in the Portland area, the supply continues to be vastly outweighed by demand. The housing shortage has been a consistent factor since well before the chaos of 2020 and due to the far reaching effects on the industry, new construction has not been able to keep pace with the higher demands.

They are the most qualified, the most knowledgeable, and technologically the most advanced local agency you will find in the business, not to mention the friendliest and most sincere bunch of people you will ever work with. Let them help make your dreams come true today!

It appears from all of this that more people are reprioritizing and deciding to act now rather than waiting until some vague time in the future to make their dreams a reality. Many people are looking to take advantage of these historically low interest rates and consider finding their dream homes sooner rather than later. So the bottom line, once again, is this: don’t wait! If you are looking to sell and/or buy a home, contact the Beltran Properties Group today and let them assist you in the process.
