REFLECTING ON 2025-2026 We had a wonderful year celebrating our 50th anniversary! We kicked off the school year with a family worship night and a charge to make 2025–2026 the best year yet. In September, hundreds of Aurora Christian alumni and families from 1975 through 2025 gathered to praise, re-connect, reminisce about the past, and look forward to the future of ACS at our 50th Celebration Gathering. As we celebrated God’s faithfulness through the decades and reflected on ACS through the years we also planned for and celebrated what is to come. In March and April, supporters gathered at our auction dinners to honor the past and light the way for future generations of children at Aurora Christian Schools! Our 2025–2026 district theme of Soar Like Eagles inspired chapel messages, directed small group studies, and deeply influenced progress on our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan. Throughout the year, we faithfully executed our vision to show Excellent Resource Stewardship (SP Priority 3) by investing in classroom technology at both campuses and piloting our VEX robotics initiative, ensuring our facilities our advancing our curricular goals. We launched elementary athletic explorations at the Aurora campus and volleyball and soccer clubs at ACS Sycamore. In consistent pursuit of our Excellent Educational Program (SP Priority 2), we rolled out new High School Academic Pathways to strengthen and expand our academic offerings. Each pathway requires extensive focused coursework, an applied service component, and a comprehensive capstone project. Our Class of 2027 seniors will be the first graduates eligible to earn distinct pathway seals on their ACS diplomas—currently available in Fine Arts, Mathematics, and Leadership. The growth potential of our new pathways program has excited our students and energized our faculty! Together, we continue to tirelessly pursue our mission of Relationship, Education, and Service here at ACS. During our 50th Anniversary year, we met our goal of “celebrating the past and challenging ourselves to rise to new heights.” Although our celebration year is behind us, we will not abandon the challenge of rising to new heights. I am so grateful that you are part of our ascent! … but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 In 2026-2027, our ACS community will rally around Becoming.... We are always becoming something, so we must be intentional about our becoming. Our students are becoming curious learners, critical thinkers, consistent achievers, creative artists, concert musicians, and champion athletes. Our school is becoming the place where students explore their gifts, develop their abilities, engage in diverse opportunities, and are equipped to pursue God's direction. Our organization is becoming a sustainable ministry that seeks partnership with alumni, donors, and families for Kingdom Impact (SP, Priority 1) to ensure that our EAGLES continue to soar! Please join us in Becoming...!

OUR HISTORY An answer to prayers prayed 50 years ago... ACS began as a dream in the hearts of concerned parents and Christian citizens in 1975. On January 7, 1975, about 40 people met to discuss the possibilities of developing a school that would be founded on the basis of Christian Education and Godly leadership. A board was formed, curriculum chosen, teachers selected, and on September 3, 1975, Aurora Christian School opened its doors with 82 students in grades K-9 in facilities loaned by Claim Street Baptist Church. By the end of the first year, enrollment had grown to 114 students. The next year, the school expanded even further to include a preschool and 10th grade. Before long, the need for a new building was clear. God provided a large building on Illinois Avenue, and, after thousands of hours of volunteer work (and some contracted labor), Aurora Christian moved into their new facilities in 1976. Within a few years, the school had swelled to well over 400 students, and, once again, larger facilities were needed. With the help of friends and families, and by the grace of God, ACS moved into its new building on Blackhawk street. Over the following decades, God continued to bless Aurora Christian Schools. In 1988, ACS received full accreditation from ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and full recognition from ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education). The latter enabled us to join the IHSA (Illinois High School Association) as full members for athletic and other competitions. In 2003, ACS also received full accreditation from NCA (North Central Association). In April of 1997, God continued the miracle called ACS with the addition of 116 acres along I-88 near Orchard Road. In 2003, portions of this property were sold to allow the purchase of a facility on Sullivan Road. Renovation on this new facility occurred during the spring and summer of 2004. We then added a full gymnasium and state-of-the-art football field. In 2011, our Preschool and Elementary schools joined Middle and High School to fully occupy the Sullivan Campus and be “Under One Roof.” In 2019 we brought the former Cornerstone Christian under our wing, expanding our mission to now include preschool and elementary families at our Sycamore Campus. Through fiscally responsible budgeting, a mission-aligned lender, and significant donations from long-time generous supporters of ACS, properties were paid off and we became debt free in December, 2023. In 2025, we proudly celebrated 50 years of Aurora Christian Schools. Through God’s blessing of amazing personnel, remarkable facilities, and partnering parents, ACS has matured tremendously over the last decade. We’ve shifted financial focus from debt relief to future planning. We are broadening our academic focus to include career pathways and trades internship opportunities. Our arts and athletics departments continue to evolve in quality and impact; and our extra-curricular and parent involvement opportunities continue to expand. We are overwhelmed and in awe of the Lord’s continued faithfulness to Aurora Christian! As we look to the next 50 years, we are excited to dream big and Light the Way for future generations of Eagles.

LETTERS FROM OUR PRINCIPALS At Aurora Christian Schools, we intentionally pour into our students through our three core pillars of Relationship, Education, and Service. Throughout this past year, we cultivated a safe, loving environment where older students mentored younger peers and where families deeply partnered with our mission. We were able to meet students where they were by providing opportunities for intervention as well as enrichment and acceleration in core academic classes. Driven by a spirit of servant leadership, students actively impacted the local community through our City Serve initiative and led weekly, spirit-filled worship chapels. We are blessed to be equipping children for whatever path God has designed for them, even from a young age! Looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, ACS is excited to expand student horizons by introducing an innovative STEM robotics program alongside enhanced character-building initiatives. As always, thank you for partnering with us in this work. Danielle Kullum Aurora Preschool and Elementary Principal

I am thrilled to return to my hometown community as the new principal of Aurora Christian Schools - Sycamore to lead our campus into a focused new season. Beginning this 2026–2027 school year, we have strategically consolidated our programs by transitioning our middle school students to the main Aurora campus. This move grants our older students immediate access to enhanced athletic, fine arts, and social opportunities, fully supported by our daily shuttle service. Concurrently, this transition allows our Sycamore campus to refocus our core efforts exclusively on early childhood and elementary excellence. By partnering intentionally with you, we remain deeply committed to the academic development and spiritual formation of our youngest learners. We are committed to ensuring that ACS Sycamore remains a sanctuary of learning, growth, and selfless service as we walk the path He has laid before us. Sean O’Connor Sycamore Preschool and Elementary Principal

As I enter my fifth year as the Middle School and High School Principal at Aurora Christian Schools, I am deeply grateful to partner with our dedicated families and staff to invest in the lives of our students. Grounded in our three essential pillars of Relationship, Education, and Service, we continue to create an environment where every student is known, valued, and encouraged. Academically, we are expanding our STEM programming and specialized Academic Pathways to ensure our students achieve excellence and are equipped with a strong biblical worldview for the future. Beyond the classroom, our students consistently demonstrate Christ-centered leadership by exceeding their service goals and impacting both local and global communities. Inspired by our school theme, "Becoming...", we look forward to the 2026-2027 year being a transformative year of helping our students grow into the individuals God created them to be. Dr. Natalie Henderson Aurora Middle and High School Principal

YOU CAN GET THERE FROM HERE... “... equipping each student to succeed in whatever path the Lord directs.” The goal of the ACS guidance department is to help all students discern and develop the unique gifts, talents, and abilities God has given them. Our goal is to prepare students for success in college, careers, and lifelong service. Through academic planning, career exploration, and college counseling, students are encouraged to learn how their strengths, interests, and calling can be applied to future educational and professional opportunities. By seeking God’s direction and developing their gifts, students are equipped to pursue post-high school plans that honor Christ and positively impact their communities and the world.

ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT At Aurora Christian Schools, our financial decisions are firmly rooted in biblical stewardship—the conviction that every resource entrusted to us ultimately belongs to God (Psalm 24:1). As we reflect on this past fiscal year, our primary objective has been to translate our spiritual mission into operational reality, ensuring our budget directly resources our core calling: to lead our students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, educate them from a Christian worldview, and prepare them for a life of service to Christ and their world. From enhancing earlychildhood learning environments to funding advanced high school academics, athletic programs, and hands-on service initiatives, our strategic financial planning is designed to serve as an active tool for discipleship.

ALLOCATION of EXPENSES

To sustain this mission, our financial philosophy balances rigorous fiscal discipline with a commitment to keeping tuition accessible and compensating our dedicated faculty. This year, we were especially blessed to witness our community's shared vision in action during our "Light the Way" benefit—our first major fundraising celebration in Aurora since before COVID. Additionally, through faithful financial management, we officially paid off our turf football field and received a targeted donor contribution that fully funded a new HVAC system for our Administration wing. These milestones stand as tangible testaments to how our cooperative body of believers works together to improve our campus and equip our students. Looking forward, we continue to diligently set aside funds in our capital account to prepare for and fuel future campus projects. Every dollar raised, debt retired, and resource stewarded this year is a direct, eternal investment in seeing Aurora Christian students impact their communities and step forward as purposeful, productive Christian adults.

With middle school athletic opportunities beginning in fifth grade, ACS athletes have the chance to participate year-round on athletic teams for 8 years.

“In the Athletic Department at Aurora Christian, we desire to pursue excellence in everything we do. From coaches to players, we expect a certain level of preparation, work ethic, and team work to compete at a high level. Being successful has been a huge part of the history here. However, our coaches’ desire goes far beyond the court or field or championships. Our mission truly is to develop our athletes so that once they leave Aurora Christian they will be great spouses, parents, and co-workers. The ultimate goal is to focus on the eternal value in everything we do from the first moment our athletes compete until their very last game.” -Dan Beebe, ACS Athletic Director

Sports Boosters During the 2025–26 school year, the ACS Sports Boosters Club continued to make a meaningful impact on both our middle school and high school athletic programs. Through concessions, spirit wear, and memberships, the Boosters raised more than $25,000 of profit, and were able to give approximately $20,000 back to our teams and athletic programs. Support included projects and needs such as the golf simulator build-out; volleyball, softball, and football camps; and the middle school football tunnel. In the spring of 2026, ACS Sports Boosters awarded the Annual Senior Christian Leadership Scholarship to two senior athletes, Mackenzie Jensen and Dominick McCall, for their demonstration of excellence in athletics and Christian leadership during their time at ACS. The ACS Sports Boosters Club is excited to build on that momentum during the 2026/2027 school year as they plan to support the stadium sound system upgrades, outdoor concession stand improvements, cheer camps and gear, and many other middle school and high school team needs throughout the year. The Boosters Club is also excited to bring back the annual golf outing in October of 2026 as well! The ACS Boosters Club would like to thank every family, volunteer, and supporter who helps make this impact possible.

CHAMPIONS FOR CHRIST ACS ATHLETICS May God help us to build character through competition, passionately inspire a devotion to excellence, and develop champions for Jesus Christ. - ACS Athletics Mission

Fine Arts Aurora Christian's Fine Arts Department—comprising band, choir, art, and theater—is a vibrant expression of our vision to cultivate Christ-centered excellence. Here, students discover, develop, and celebrate their God-given creative talents as acts of worship and service. From preschool through elementary, our youngest artists engage in music and art throughout the school week, sharing their joy at Grandparents Day, our Christmas concert, and Spring performances—each showcasing stunning visual art displays alongside musical performances that point to the beauty of God's creation. At the middle and high school levels, students choose their artistic path, whether through ensemble performance or studio art, with our musicians taking the stage regularly and our visual artists displaying their work throughout the Fox Valley community. The impact is profound. Our students are earning recognition at the district level in both music and art, with our high school artists achieving distinction at the state and congressional levels—all while growing in their understanding that excellence in the arts glorifies God and strengthens our school community. Beyond the fine arts studio and stage, our students thrive in the classroom and on the athletic field, embodying our conviction that artistic training cultivates the character and compassion Christ calls us to develop. This growth—made possible by the steadfast support of our families, the dedication of our fine arts educators, and God's grace—reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole student in faith. We are grateful for what our artists are creating, performing, and becoming as they serve the Lord through their gifts.

2025-2026 Fine Arts Highlights... Band - The band program at ACS served 62 students during the 25/26 school year, delivering outstanding performances throughout the academic year. Our musicians shared their talents at Veterans Day Chapels, Christmas and Spring Concerts, and numerous athletic events. The Winter ACS Fine Arts Festival showcased the dedication and skill of our student musicians. Our students earned significant recognition at the district and conference levels. One high school student was selected for the ILMEA District 9 band and eight high school students participated in the Chicago Christian Conference band festival, reflecting the caliber of musicianship in our program. Choir - Following a slowdown in engagement, the ACS 7th–12th grade choir program experienced a remarkable revitalization during the 25/26 school year, transforming from a small morning club of 25 dedicated students into a thriving academic program. Thanks to the support of administration and the incredible perseverance of the students and staff, ACS choir officially returned to the curriculum as a formal class in January 2026, allowing the ensemble to learn and master a new repertoire and deliver exceptional community performances at the Chicagoland Christian Conference Festival, Jennings Terrace Nursing Home, and the ACS Spring Concert. Visual Arts - During the 25/26 School year, 120 students participated in visual arts course work at the High School Level and the Aurora Christian High School Visual Fine Arts will receive its third IAEA SCHOOL OF DISTINCTION Award in October 2026. Over the 25/26 school year, 18 ACS students were recognized with national art honors in the visual arts. Owen Niedzwiecki won the 2025-2026 Congressional Art Competition for the 14th District and his artwork is now at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington D.C. until May of 2027. Theatre - The Theatre Program at ACS is growing and expanding. In the spring of 2026, 34 middle school and high school students participated in the production of Tarzan at our Aurora Campus with a three-run production weekend! The Theatre program also ran a Drama Club for middle school and high school students througout the year.

Service Aurora Christian Schools exists in part to prepare students for a life of service to Christ and their world. During the 25/26 school year, ACS students served on campus, in the Fox Valley area, and even out of state. The ACS heart for service has been a core pillar since 1975.

Mission Impossible Mission Impossible is a signature experience for our High School students and was started by our founder, Paul House. This trip incorporates all pillars of the Aurora Christian Mission: relationship, education, service. As students work alongside other students, faculty, and tradesmen and women, they learn valuable trade skills, build relationships with one another, grow in their faith, and serve in ways that expand the ministry of others. This year ACS traveled to serve at Deer Run Camps and Retreats in Thompson Station, TN. Our team of 132 students and 78 adults included alumni, former and current faculty/staff, and former and current parents.

Mission Aurora In the spring of 2026, Mission Week Aurora provided 60 high school students and all of our Aurora middle school students with meaningful opportunities to serve our community across a variety of organizations. Students supported food distribution efforts at Interfaith Food Pantry, Northern Illinois Food Bank, and Feed My Starving Children. They showed care and spent valuable time with the residents at multiple area nursing homes. Community organizations like Hesed House, Salvation Army, and the Fox Valley YMCA, as well as local churches, each had specific projects for our students to complete and appreciated the extra hands with those tasks. During the week, a group of talented art students focused their service efforts and completed a local art mural project. The goal of this annual service week is always to encourage students to build connections with local organizations and develop hearts of service. Our desire is that they continue to find opportunities to serve others and make a lasting positive impact right here in the Fox Valley area.

Sycamore Campus Over the course of the 2025/2026 school year the Sycamore campus served in a variety of ways. Annually, our Sycamore campus students serve at the Feed My Starving Children local mobile pack at Suter Company alongside other Sycamore community members. Additionally, students hosted the Jingle Bell Christmas Party for Mitchell Elementary School students, wrote letters to deployed service members, created art projects for local nursing home residents, and helped around the campus in a variety of ways.

Preschool and Elementary - Aurora Campus Each year in May, students participate in a City Serve Day! In May of 2026, our students served by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, creating Blessing Bags for neighbors, doing yard work for local organizations, and more. All of these service opportunities were also open to parent volunteers, creating a community day of service and relationship building for our Aurora Campus.

“Find a need and fill it!” - ACS Founder, Rev. Paul House

SUPPORT ACS 50 Years - Celebrating God’s Faithfulness through the decades Aurora Christian Schools marked five decades of Christian education during its 50th Anniversary Celebration Event on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The golden anniversary gathering brought together families, current and former staff, and multi-generational alumni to honor the school's history and impact since its establishment in 1975. The milestone weekend featured a dedicated open-house memorabilia showcase packed with historical archives and celebrating the school’s rich history. A special highlight of the celebration was the performance by the alumni band, which reunited former student musicians for a memorable worship experience. In honor of our 50th year celebration, ACS launched the 50 for 50 Campaign in the fall of 2025 and successfully met its goal, raising $50,000 to celebrate 50 years of ministry and education at Aurora Christian Schools. Thanks to a generous match, the total impact was doubled to over $100,000, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Eagles Fund. These funds were invested back into the student community across both campuses by strengthening spiritual life through chapel and discipleship, expanding academic and extracurricular programs, and upgrading vital classroom resources. Click HERE to watch the 50 th celebration video.

The Eagles Fund - Aurora Christian Schools’ Annual Fund In honor of 50 years, ACS launched the Eagles Fund in the fall of 2025, the foundation of our giving program. The Eagles Fund is the collective way our community comes together each year to ensure that every student is prepared for a life of service to Christ and their world. We are so grateful for the faithful partnership and support of our donors. Over the last year: 55 unique donors helped us meet our 50 for 50 campaign goal. 127 first-time donors partnered with ACS. Your support directly fuels faith-driven learning, inspiring teachers, innovative programs, and hands-on service opportunities that shape both the hearts and minds of our students. Whether you give $5, $50, or $500, every gift matters. Together, we can ensure that ACS continues to equip students to grow, thrive, and soar into the future. Click HERE to give a one-time or monthly gift to The Eagles Fund to support the Eagle experience.

SUPPORT ACS Aurora Annual Benefit Dinner 2026 Light the Way Our 2026 Light the Way Annual Benefit Dinner served as a major highlight for the ACS Aurora Campus as ACS celebrated a 50-year legacy and looked ahead to light the way for future generations of ACS students. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Company 251 in downtown Aurora, parents, alumni, faculty, and supporters joined together for an evening of community and shared celebration. Guests enjoyed a fun dinner, party games, and an auction all anchored by an inspiring keynote address from retired Aurora Police Department Police Chief, ACS basketball coach, and alumni parent Keith Cross. Driven by a shared commitment to the next generation, the ACS community's generosity shone bright as the event raised nearly $50,000 providing critical funding that went directly to enhance our school STEM curriculum, advance campus technology in our theater, and upgrade student entrance facilities to ensure ACS continues to light the way for years to come.

Sycamore Annual Auction 2026 An Evening in the Garden This past spring, ACS Sycamore hosted its annual fundraising auction, An Evening in the Garden, at beautiful Blumen Gardens in Sycamore. Guests enjoyed an evening of celebration, fellowship, a delicious dinner, and performances by a live string quartet. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the silent, live, and dessert auctions successfully raised nearly $20,000! Proceeds directly funded renovations to our campus and upgrades to our campus branding and culture.

Honey Helps ACS In the fall of 2025, we completed our annual district-wide fundraiser, Honey Helps. Through selling bottles of honey and related products, our students raised over $30,000 that was invested back into our campuses! Aurora and Sycamore campuses both had outdoor play spaces upgraded and funds directly invested in classroom resources.
