WINGS NEWSLETTER Vol 18, Term Four, Week Five, 11 November 2022
Dear Parents and Friends of Sunderland, On Tuesday afternoon, I had the opportunity to attend the matinee performance of the Year 4-6 Production. This was ‘Passport to the World’, where each class chose a country for destination and explored the culture of this country through dance, song and drama. It was super entertaining, and all the children were clearly enjoying themselves which is what shows are all about. I wish to also highlight the Primary orchestra, who performed at the short intermissions in the café. This was a fantastic addition to the overall experience. It is my intention to also attend the Lower College over the next few days. Special thanks to all the teaching staff and in particular Miss Samantha Richardson for her overall direction, and to Mr Daniel O’Connor for all his work with the music and orchestra. This week we had an earthquake drill at school. As you would have expected, the drill went very well.
All visitors and items being dropped off for children – must report to reception – please do not go directly to the classrooms.
