PROGRAMME 2026

About Summer Programme 2026

Welcome to ACG School Jakarta Summer Programme 2026.

The aim of this programme is to provide and promote connected and contextual learning. Connected and contextual learning transcends enjoyment and fun, making all learning meaningful and transdisciplinary equipping students with the skills for all of life’s journey.

We offer age-appropriate programmes full of academic, performing and creative art, and sport. The programme runs for two weeks.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our programmes. Our team will be delighted to hear from you!

Why ACG School Jakarta’s Summer Programme

As an Inspired school ACG pushes beyond the confines of traditional academia and our summer school will be exactly the same! Our holistic approach to education defines good teaching as ‘providing opportunities and experiences for students within the Approaches to Learning (ATL’s) PYP model.

This model clearly and deliberately expands the benefits of education to include development of life and communication skills. Collectively and complimentary to these ATL’s, we will imbed and integrate the three pillars of education - Academics, Performing & Creative Arts, and Sport, into the Summer Programme as per our Inspired educational approach.

ACG is a unique school with an international pedagogical approach and whilst some schools offer a summer program that they market as fun and exciting, here at ACG we know that that fun and exciting are by-products of learning that is connected, with meaning, is student centered and driven, as well as being rigorous

Your child will experience 3 different classes each day utilizing our 3-pillar and ATL approach.

The Driving Principles of our Summer School:

1.Outstanding Academics (in English)

2.Sports (as a model for life’s principles)

3.Creative and Performing Arts (for expression, design, and communication)

Why ACG School Jakarta’s Summer Programme

ACADEMICS

Is the central pillar of education. Here at ACG we believe that high-quality academic provision is vitally important and this leads to qualifications that broaden the scope of future opportunities for students. For the summer school, we are channelling the Academics pillar towards students developing real mastery of their English. ACG understand that in order for students to reach their full academic potential in English, their learning must be directed by fluent, native professionals who engage them fully in their own learning process so that their self-confidence is strengthened, and they are empowered to think critically through enquiry-based learning. Importantly, as life-long learners, students will be challenged and motivated to make progress at the level and in the area that is specific to them.

English is about all about communicating! We communicate through reading, writing, speaking, presenting, and listening In this summer school we will help you to enhance your strengths and develop your weaknesses –research shows that a cognitive awareness of your capabilities in this subject is key to unlocking your potential. Our job is to make it fun, challenging but most of all relevant!

PERFORMING and CREATIVE ARTS:

Here at ACG we believe that artists are not special kinds of people, but every person is a special kind of artist. Vast amounts of research clearly indicate that encouraging creativity in children improves overall well-being and increases their engagement in learning; To this end our summer school will not only provide a robust arts programme enriching academic studies while students strengthen their divergent thinking capabilities and problem-solving abilities but it will be intrinsically connected to the other pillars utilising the transdisciplinary approach unique to the PYP model and ACG expertise.

SPORT:

ACG’s sporting pillar represents health, well-being, fun, motivation, and self-esteem. P.E and sports extracurricular activities aim to provide an activity to suit every child due to our child centred, diversified approach. In the same way that we value native, fluent English speaking professionals as the best approach for English we also recognise that within Sport there is the need for specialist in-house coaching for some aspects of Sport. To this end our ACG summer school program will include qualified swimming coaching utilising the Swim England levels and award scheme. Regardless of ability, all students benefit from the fitness, enjoyment, and social benefits of participation in this pillar!
