First-, second-, and third-year students live the ideals they are learning by enjoying locally grown and prepared food. The structure of the cafeteria and the rest of the campus is composed largely of biogenic materials, including rammed earth, compressed earth blocks, wood, stone, and terra-cotta, which are durable, replicable, and repairable.
