Hello, I’m Baby Dragon, and this is my friend Lily.

We play together and have lots of fun. I learn so many very important—and magical— things from her!
Hello! My name is Lily, and this is my friend Baby Dragon!
I teach him something new every day, to make him even kinder and more clever.

Do you want to know how I taught Baby Dragon to SHARE? Turn the page to read the story...

Lily and Baby Dragon are excited; they’re playing outside today! They’re at Lily’s friend Max’s house, in his big yard, which is full of their friends!

“Yahoo!” Baby Dragon skips around, clinging to the yellow truck he brought with him.
Lily has brought her colorful building blocks. She can’t wait to build something with her friends. Smiling, she opens the box. It’s going to be so much fun!

“Remember
that we all play together,” she tells Baby Dragon.

Baby Dragon nods in reply, unable to stop looking this way and that...

There are so many toys! Shiny CHOO CHOO trains! Teddy bears in all shapes and sizes. There’s even a fire truck... Baby Dragon doesn’t know where to start!

He skips around the garden, touching everything. “Wow! I’m going to build a track!” he tells Jessica, who brought the pieces with her.

“You can build it together,” Lily explains.
“It’s
nice to share and also a lot more fun. Do you remember what I said?”
“Yes,” Baby Dragon replies.

He grabs a piece of track, then another...Jessica can’t get near them!
Lily is sad. Her little dragon is finding it hard to SHARE!

“That’s a tyrannosaurus!”
Baby Dragon shouts, grabbing Max’s toy.
“What did I just tell you?” Lily asks patiently. She waits for Baby Dragon to share the toy.

He shrugs “But...but...it’s such a pretty dinosaur!”
“You’re right, but you and Max can both play with it. Look, Sarah has a dinosaur, too, you can ask her...” “Give it to me!” Baby Dragon replies.

Baby Dragon has taken both dinosaurs and is grinning.
Lily is not happy, though. She loves her friend ...even though he can be a silly billy sometimes!

“I know you want to play, but it’s important to SHARE. Playing together is much more fun.” But Baby Dragon is already looking at something else: three colorful balloons across the yard!

“Can I play with your yellow truck?” Jessica asks. Baby Dragon shakes his head. “ No! ”
This makes Lily sad. Her friend really doesn’t want to learn how to SHARE.
“Why don’t we finish building the track with Jessica then race the truck on it?” “ No! Not my truck!” Baby Dragon cries. “Well, you could share it...”

“But it’s mine!”
Baby Dragon shouts.
Lily shakes her head sadly.
“Okay, we can build the track with Jessica” Baby Dragon suggests, but Lily doesn’t hear. She has walked away. Maybe she’s angry with him? He thinks about this and realizes what he should say, or rather, do!

“Here, you can play now,” he squeals at the top of his voice, handing his yellow truck to Jessica. Finally! Lily runs over and gives him an enormous hug, smiling. “Are you ready to play with the building blocks?”
Baby Dragon is ecstatic. Everyone is much happier when they SHARE .

Baby Dragon has learned to SHARE .
It’s magical, isn’t it?

You can do more things with a lot more people when you SHARE .
Why don’t you try? Share your toys with your friends. Doing things together is so much more fun.
