To build a FINANCIALLY VIABLE and NATIONAL-LED Bible College that EQUIPS church planters and leaders within the UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS of the region with THEOLOGICAL TRAINING that is tailor made for their educational needs.
Develop an intentionally LEAN and REPRODUCIBLE model that raises up NATIONAL teachers and leaders at the Institute, Bachelors, and Masters level.
BY 2030,
our GOAL is to raise up 30 Master of Divinity graduates with a select number moving on to Doctoral programs.
Beginning with the END in mind, we believe by INVESTING in these leaders over the next decade they will be PREPARED and EMPOWERED to lead FBT and the theological education of future generations.
IMPLEMENTATION Currently we are experiencing a shortage of teachers in the country, due to limited access to theological training. We are requesting outside help from theologically gifted partners to prepare curriculum and teach at our sites in Lomé, Kpalimé, and Kara. Those who are unable to travel or instruct may partner with us in curriculum development and translation. Also, those who are unable to develop curriculum may be equipped to travel to one of our sites and teach.
Our goal is for partner churches to coordinate a cohesive curriculum, “own” a particular course, and be committed to teaching it at each of our 3 locations over a 24-month period. The curriculum will be developed in both English and French. Translators will be utilized to transcribe curriculum and during instructional periods.
NEXT STEPS... Our model is designed to remove as many obstacles as possible for the next generation of leaders and provide a sound theological education for minimal cost. Because of this, we ask that each individual or organization work to raise the support required as part of their mission contribution. We are here to help you in this effort as much as possible.
