LIFE-CHANGING CARE
STORIES OF LIFE-CHANGING CARE RECONCILING FAMILIES The mother of an employee was discovered missing for several days, and later found in her car - where she had taken her own life. The chaplain was contacted immediately and provided care for the employee throughout. The employee was obviously extremely distraught. Adding to the flood of emotions, the employee had seen the mother (and family) only a few times over the past twelve years because of a family squabble - though they lived within ten miles of one another. Through the grief and pain of this mother’s death, and care from their chaplain, this employee has now been reconciled with their family.

HELP IN TIMES OF NEED The adult daughter of an employee went into the hospital for a simple surgery. Following the surgery, the medical staff couldn’t get her to wake up. She was rushed by ambulance to another hospital and placed in critical care. It was the next day before they were finally able to wake her up. The chaplain was able to provide care and support for the family throughout. After a death of an employee, the mother of the deceased employee reached out to the chaplain. She has allowed the chaplain to provide ongoing encouragement and grief care after her loss.
