“THE CHAPLAIN WAS ABLE TO GIVE HIM A CALL AND SET HIM UP AT THE LOCAL RESCUE MISSION, WHICH GOT HIM OFF THE STREET.“ A Chaplain was contacted by one of the supervisors that a teammate was experiencing a difficult time. The individual had experienced marital issues resulting in him being homeless and living out of his car. The Chaplain was able to give him a call and set him up at the local rescue mission, which got him off the street. Next, the Chaplain was able to provide him with different services he could contact for low-cost housing.
“AT THE FUNERAL THE CHAPLAIN WAS ABLE TO PRESENT THE GOSPEL AND TWO MORE SOULS ACCEPTED CHRIST ON THAT OCCASION.” “ A teammate who had been with the company for many years, retried recently, but a few years early than planned. His wife had cancer and he wanted to make the most of the remaining time. The teammate called the Chaplain and asked for the Chaplain to visit him at his home. They had developed a good relationship, and his wife had just received news that she was nearing her final days. The Chaplain drove out to his home, about 1.5 hours away, to spend time with them. It was a really sweet time. At the end, The Chaplain was able to gain permission and share the gospel with both of them. His wife accepted the Lord and made peace with God before entering eternity. A few weeks later the Chaplain received another call from this same teammate. His wife had passed, and he asked if the Chaplain could perform the funeral. At the funeral the Chaplain was able to present the gospel and two more souls accepted Christ on that occasion. It was a blessing for the Chaplain to serve this teammate and give this family such peace during a difficult time.
