The other day, I was pondering on life; I realised I do originate from a kingdom. God (the King) sent me on earth pregnant with purpose. He assigned me a task to complete within a specific timeframe. So, my life here is to honour the king through my service. I was awakened to the fact that when I serve men, I actually serve God and please my King. This applies to everyone living on earth. Serving God is not a casual arrangement; it is a deliberate journey of devotion, surrender, and obedience. It is how you show your reverence to God. Scripture reminds us that true service begins with relationship—acknowledging Godʼs authority, ownership, and sovereignty over our lives. The call to serve God is both collective and personal. Leaders may inspire and parents may guide, but ultimately, each of us must make the personal choice to walk in obedience. Our service must therefore be sincere, authentic, and undivided, for God has no substitute. The quality of our lives is often a reflection of our revelation of the God we serve. As our understanding of Him deepens through faith, our walk with Him is transformed, and so are the results we experience. We serve a God of extraordinary ability—the God who gave His people “cities which ye built not” (Joshua 24:13, NKJV). He is still positioning His people to inherit and experience blessings beyond human expectation. Christ dwells in us as a platform through which Godʼs glory can be revealed. True freedom is found in serving Him, and true greatness flows from a life surrendered to His purpose. Jobʼs greatness was not merely in what he possessed but in the steadfastness of his devotion to God. Likewise, the greatness we experience in any sphere of life is ultimately connected to the depth of our devotion to Him. As you read this edition, may you be stirred to see service not merely as a duty but as a divine calling and a pathway to destiny. May you embrace the freedom that comes from wholehearted surrender, walk boldly in obedience, and allow the glory of God to shine through your life. Would you like to connect with us? PASTOR’S DESK
Kingdom Citizenship and Colonies – Part 1 Many people will agree that being homeless is a very painful and undesirable situation. UN-Habitat estimates there are between 300-318 million homeless people worldwide. Terrible as homelessness is, there is a related but even worse situation – being stateless or not having a country to belong. UNHCR reports an estimated 4.5 million stateless people in 2025. It goes ahead to observe that “stateless people are not recognized as citizens by any country. Denied the right to a nationality, they are often also not allowed to go to school, see a doctor, get a job or even get married.” Both homelessness and statelessness rob people of the rights and privileges of citizenship and commonwealth – two very vital resources for the dignity and wellbeing of mankind. Did you, however, know that if you are a believer without knowledge of the kingdom of God, you are no different from a stateless person. As a matter of fact, your situation in the earth is worse off than that of a stateless person even though you have citizenship in a natural country. If you are born-again, beware that you have dual citizenship. Your higher order citizenship is that of the Kingdom of God and the lower order one is the one recognized and granted to you by the state of your earthly country. If you lose sight of your kingdom citizenship and only live as a citizen of your natural country, know that you have settled for a very low order of life – the life of a mere man (1 Corinthians 3:3) You, like Jesus, have a country of first origin. When the religious leaders of the day asked about where He was from, Jesus replied: “You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this world…” (John 8:23, NLT). How is that? You might ask. We find the answer to your question in John 3:3: “I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!” (CEV). Did you know that to be born-again means to be born from above? Yes, it does. Unfortunately, not many believers know that. As a result, a majority of Church is living below their rights and privileges as citizens of the Kingdom of God. In short, they are missing out on the commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2:12) If we belong to the Kingdom of God, what are we doing in our natural countries? We are here to colonize our natural countries with the culture of heaven: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.…as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand…” (Matthew, 6:10; 10:7) You and I are divine colonialists sent to earth to establish a colony of heaven. A colony is “…a company or body of people transplanted from their mother country to a remote province or country to cultivate and inhabit it, and remaining subject to the jurisdiction of the parent state.” (Webster Dictionary, 1828). HOPE HEALTH CAMP 3rd October | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Abundant Life Faith Centre will reach out to the neighbouring community with the whole gospel for the whole man including medical care. We are committed to seeing lives transformed and people walking in the freedom found through the Gospel of the Kingdom. This October, we are opening our doors to the sick and afflicted and extending medical aid. ALFC will partner with medical practitioners to offer excellent services.
CULTURAL HERITAGE DAY 11th October | 10:00am – 1:00pm
Every one of us originates from somewhere: a culture, tribe, and people. We all emerge as one to hail the name of Jesus. This day we will be celebrating our diverse cultures, praying that the light of God continues to shine in our different cultures, tribes, and communities. You will want to be a part of this as we pray out for the will of God to be established in the land.
EVENING OF WORSHIP AND WHOLENESS 28th October | 6:30pm-8:00pm
"Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." (Psalm 95:6) Our God is King and is deserving of worship! The earth and its fullness are His. And we are the people of His pasture! Come and encounter Him for yourself in an atmosphere soaked in adoration of Him and be made whole.
PRAYER OF SALVATION

THE GARDEN OF GROWTH Have you ever wondered how a little seed turns into a giant tree or how a small idea in your head can become something big that impacts many people? As Christians, our whole life is about the King and His Kingdom. In a teaching by Pastor Joseph Enyimu, we learn that our King has a way of making things grow. This is called a Kingdom Operation. Think of it like a secret garden—or an "orchard"—that follows special rules. If you learn these rules, you can grow big dreams just like a farmer grows big watermelons. The first rule is having wise minds and spirits attuned to His will. And we can ask God for this so that we can acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. This means we don't just guess; we learn the King's methods. Pastor Enyimu teaches that the greater use of your mind is to dream. When we dream and refuse to limit God, but instead give those dreams completely to Him, we begin to live well for the Master, making Him pleased as we work hard His orchard in the spirit of faith. The second rule is the power of the seed. The Scripture says that Godʼs Kingdom is like a tiny mustard seed, when it is sown, it grows up into a huge tree. You shouldnʼt be sad if your dream looks tiny right now because as you learn more of how God works, you will learn how to do your work. By exploring each area of "apprentice-like living“, your life will begin to bear real fruit. Then there is the "sleep and wake" rule. The Scripture says the seed should spring and grow, though the farmer does not know how. You don't have to worry about how the dream will come true because that is the Kingʼs job. To help you, the King gives you the strength to stick it out over the long haul—the glory-strength God gives. This is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy. In Godʼs Garden, we bring forth fruit with patience. If you stay steady and constant, your dream stays strong. This joyful-hearted endurance admits to the greatness of God and keeps thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that He has for us. These laws of the Kingdom, can guarantee a total Record Recovery. The King has made us fit to share in a huge inheritance, which means He can take what you have left and multiply it until you are not just restored, but overflowing with new life. Your dreams were never meant to remain 'under the dirt.' Bring them before the King and refuse to settle for small horizons. Speak life over your seeds today: 'My mind is attuned to His wisdom, and His Word is at work within me!

Testimonies
Kitende, Entebbe | Prossy had been battling a blood condition for over six years. Her hemoglobin levels just couldnʼt come to normal. The doctors suggested she get a blood transfusion, but she firmly rejected this. Prossy preferred supplements and healthy eating to go with the medication. This, however, was futile. In June this year. She experienced a rare episode. She woke up completely drained of strength; she stayed in bed, unable to do her routines. By the afternoon, she knew she needed help and went to the hospital. The doctors were alarmed at her condition, plus her body was found with acute malaria. She was immediately admitted and put on drips to curb the situation. Prossy called a few church friends to pray with her, including her pastor. While in the room she felt unease and played gospel music to change the atmosphere. She saw within her spirit a man dressed in white with a sword fighting and slaying a creature right in the room. As she drifted off to sleep, she was taken to a strange place. She saw what looked like men on an altar offering sacrifice against her, but the same man in white came and aborted their program and dismantled their plan. The next morning Prossy woke up completely healed. The doctors checked her, and the malaria was gone; even the stubborn blood condition had stabilized. She gives thanks to the Lord for unquestionable victory in her life. Kungu, Kira | Nerry and his daughter were travelling to their country home late in the evening. The drive was smooth until their vehicle was involved in a collision they didnʼt see coming. Suddenly, their car was hit, and before they could react, airbags emerged from the vehicle and shielded them from the impact. When the daughter got out of the car, they discovered they had collided with a cow, which later moved into the bushes. Except for the shock, he and his daughter were uninjured save for minor bruises. The people around the area were helpful, pushing the car to safety, where it stayed for the rest of the night. Nerry is grateful to God for His divine protection.

OVERCOMING TEMPTATION YOUTH CORNER
I was picking up trash in our yard that was left by a storm, and I must have picked up something that had touched some dreaded poison ivy! The itch of poison ivy is almost unbearable! However, if I give in to the temptation to scratch it, the poison will spread, and it will become that much worse! As I did my best to refrain from scratching, it made me think of how temptation can seem overwhelming at times in our lives—like an itch. It would be so easy to just give in and scratch, but that wouldnʼt make it better. Just like the poison ivy will spread and become worse, sin will too if we give in and scratch it! Temptation comes with living in this fallen world. Paul states it plainly in the first part of 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man." There is a huge difference between being tempted and being tested. Temptation is a pull toward evil, a pull toward sin. God would never tempt us to sin; Jesus came to save us from sin! So, what do we do? First of all, donʼt touch the poison; stay away from it! Do not give in to the itch! I coated the poison ivy with a medicated spray that helps it not itch and causes it to begin to dry up and heal. Godʼs Word is healing. When we turn to God, He is always there to help us resist temptation. See 1 Corinthians 10:13. Jesus time and time again reminded His disciples to pray when facing temptation. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." "Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 6:13, 26:41) Jesus Himself was tempted by Satan. But He overcame temptation; He did NOT sin. And by His power and life, overcoming temptation is possible for us as believers in Him! The next time you experience an itch, let it remind you to also be aware and beware of temptation. ~www.creativebiblestudy.com Donʼt give in to the itch… It will just cause the poison of sin to spread! Instead, run to God in prayer and get into His Word! Overcoming temptation is possible through Christ! "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7"
