Abtin Hajiamirkhani

Abtin Hajiamirkhani is an interior architect and designer based in Berlin, working across residential renovation, adaptive reuse, and commercial interiors. Born in Tehran and educated across Tehran and Berlin, his practice combines precise technical documentation with a strong sensitivity to spatial atmosphere, material character, and the cultural histories embedded in built environments. His project work spans a range of scales and contexts — from the detail-level refurbishment of period apartments to competition-winning showroom concepts and large-scale residential developments. Across these typologies, a consistent interest runs through his work: how existing spaces can be transformed without losing the qualities that gave them meaning, and how new interventions can feel both considered and genuinely livable. Alongside his design practice, Abtin documents architecture through his photography platform From the Lens of A — a parallel engagement with the built environment that sharpens his eye for spatial composition, materiality, and light.
