Welcome to the 2025 Autumn AB S Beef update, and what a cracking line -up of sires we have for the Autumn season and upcoming Spring!

With each new season brings new beginnings, especially for elite young sires from Australia and around the world. With each new sire, a new future is forged in the herds of our customers who choose to invest in our product. It’s an exciting time; one that encourages us to reflect on learnings of the past and be courageous in our relentless quest to find the best young sires available for our customers. While the seasons and sires change over time, our vision remains the same.

The 2024 Spring period was an exciting time for AB S with the acquisition of Trio Utopia U101, one of the hot test young sires to hit the Angus market in some time. In addition, Wag yus Arubial Universal and Ultimate, two United sons with incredible data profiles to sit alongside Arubial Genjiro Jr, who remains the most unique data combination Wag yu bull on ear th. Sons and daughters of our hot test bulls including Woodhill Comstock and Dunoon Sunstone have also begun to emerge in herds acros s the nation with exceptional feedback

Our no-exceptions selection triangle of “pedigree, performance & phenotype” is manifest in the pages to follow. Diligent inspection and selection of Australian and US sires has allowed us to put together a great Spring 2025 of domestic acquisitions, in addition to several key influential US sires for this 2026 Autumn Update. On the theme of new beginnings, we are delighted to welcome Kieran Howie to our beef team this year. Hailing from Manypeaks in Southern WA, Kieran grew up on his family’s cattle operation comprising some 600 Angus females, which he has farmed and managed for the past 10 years. Kieran is a highly experienced and astute cattleman and well versed across all aspects of cattle, including reproduction and breeding.
