Planning a wedding is truly an exciting time! For most people, planning a wedding is the first time they have ever planned an event with so many details. We are delighted that you are interested in asking our Above the Rest team to make wedding planning easier. Creating a romantic, beautiful atmosphere for your wedding day is our expertis e.

You have chosen a beautiful venue with its large bay windows overlooking the golf course and the pretty outdoor ceremony site. We know you will much enjoy your wedding day at Gettysvue.
Inside this catalog are several samples of draping we have installed at Gettysvue Country Club. It is a good guide to show you the caliber of our professionalism and serve as inspiration for you. We can, of course, create far more than what you see here--just ask! The FAQ page at the back will answer many questions, but you may ask all the questions you w ant--even questions regarding non-decorating aspects of your wedding.

Consultation Policy
We are happy to meet with clients in person to learn about your vision for your wedding or we can do all details via phone and email—whatever works best for you. If you want us to proceed with design plans for your wedding, a $250 non-refundable design/consultaton fee is due. This applies toward your order. Once received, we follow up with designs and converstation to finalize your decor.
For out of town clients, we are happy to do email & phone consultations.

The bay windows in the ballroom make a beautiful background for ceremonies. They are great for Plan B if you originally plan an outdoor ceremony and the weather doesn't cooperate

"Simply Classic" As shown, ivory sheer draping over the center Bay Window filters light that shines through the window and creates a frame for the bride and groom. This treatment is perfect for people who want simple touches of softness in the room. White sheer and white sateen also available. Happy to order custom colors additional.

The most popular design at Gettysvue is bringing the draping out from the center of the chandelier to the 4 support beams. This draping adds an elegant, soft and romantic feel to the room whether it's used for your ceremony or reception.
Often, the middle of the room serve as dance floor space and guests love to dance under the draping. Available with or without twinkle lights. Starts at $687.97 without lights, $747.87 with lights. This includes a single panel of column draping.
The 4 support columns can be completely encased with fabric and have lights added or left exposed with a single panel of fabric accenting the column.

Romantic Walls
Right - Sometimes, people like to add draping along the "bar" wall to create a uniform look and create a formal entrance to the room. As shown white sateen which is opaque so things do not show through the fabric.

Gettysvue is a beautiful venue with its classy neutral colors and open windows. Yet, the addition of fabric draping enhances the room's natural beauty.
The design shown is ivory sheer, which looks fantastic with the ivory and wood tones in the room.
If you choose to celebrate outside on the patio, we can brighten up the space with bistro lighting cascading down from the balcony railing out 20' to our upright supports.

We will ask you several questions about your event, the venue, your event's goal, vision, and budget. Next, at consultation, we listen carefully and then provide our expert advice and direction to best serve you. How do we know what to order for our event?
What is the Delivery/Set up Service Fee?
Delivery & Set up service of all decor at your venue. Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of delivery, and the amount of decor being installed. Delivery begins at $125. Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee.
What is the Breakdown/Strike Service Fee?
We carefully remove all decor we installed, including moving heavy base plates, poles, and fold all fabrics. AAAH, relaxing for you! Pricing is determined by location, access to the venue, time of breakdown, and the amount of decor being removed. Breakdown begins at $125. Early morning and late night service is Premium Service, resulting in higher service fee. We are closed on Sunday and in rare occasions provide Premium Sunday Service.
May we do the Breakdown Ourselves?
Sorry, no. For fabric draping, we provide breakdown service to insure that all fabrics are clean, undamaged, and put away properly. Draping typically involves a lot of ladder work and heavy lifting. We do all this for you because you want to relax after your event, not fold yards and yards of fabric. Right? For balloon decor, breakdown can be optional.
What is the payment policy for fabric draping?
$250 non-refundable Design Fee is due prior to us providing designs or an in-person consultation. This applies to your total invoice. Design pricing is good for 7 days after your receipt. 50% down payment of ordered decor is due within 7 days after order is finalized. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event. Quarterly payment plans are available for additional fee. 3.5% card processing service added for all card use. (card use optional)
Is there a damage deposit?
Yes. For all outside draping service, a minimum of a $350 damage deposit is taken up front. Check or card number is held until after event. If no damage occurs, these are shredded.
