NAMIBIA

Namibia is the least populated country in Africa, yet its attractions are unrivaled and otherworldly. Experiencing landscapes shaped by humbling natural forces, guests fly above the barren Skeleton Coast, hike the fissures of Fish River Canyon, study the petroglyphs of Damaraland and watch burning sunsets from atop Sossusvlei’s dunes. Purros Conservancy — A stronghold of the traditional Himba and Herero communities, travellers can learn about ancient ways of life, including the Himba’s ochre hair adornments, and embark on safaris rich in lions, giraffes and springboks.

Skeleton Coast — Named for the shipwrecks and whale skeletons that litter its shores. Walvis Bay Lagoon is regarded as the region’s most important wetland, hosting some 200,000 migratory birds.

RWANDA
