Message from the Chief Executive Officer

A

Landmark Year of Impact, Leadership, and Looking Ahead

As we reflect on 2025, it is with both pride and gratitude that we look back on a truly landmark year for AmCham Dubai. This year marked our 40th anniversary four decades of service as a trusted platform for bilateral business, grounded in partnership, credibility, and community

From our founding in 1985 to the role we play today, AmCham Dubai has continued to evolve while staying true to its core mission: strengthening commercial ties and supporting American businesses in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Our anniversary year culminated in two defining moments for our organization In December, we proudly hosted the 13th Annual AmCham MENA Regional Conference, bringing together leaders from across the AmCham network under the theme “One Region, One Voice.” Held in Dubai during our 40th year, the Conference underscored the power of regional collaboration, thoughtful dialogue, and shared purpose in advancing U S –MENA trade and investment That same weekend, we gathered as a community for the 40th Anniversary Gala and I AmChampion Awards an evening dedicated to honoring legacy, celebrating excellence, and recognizing the companies and individuals shaping the future of bilateral trade.

The I AmChampion Awards highlighted outstanding leadership in corporate excellence, talent development, and regional impact, while our Legacy Award paid tribute to enduring contributions that have helped build the foundation we stand on today Beyond these milestone events, the scale of engagement across the year was extraordinary

In 2025, AmCham Dubai delivered and supported 107 programs, spanning advocacy, sector-focused dialogue, committee work, thought leadership, and community-building This breadth of programming reflects the strength of our member-driven model and the deep commitment of our committees, partners, sponsors, and leadership As we close the year, we are also pleased to announce the AmCham Dubai Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term. This incoming Board brings together a diverse group of leaders whose experience and perspective will help guide the next chapter of the Chamber

We extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing Board members for their service and stewardship, and we look forward to the continued momentum ahead None of this would be possible without the trust, engagement, and collaboration of our members and partners.

Your involvement whether through committees, events, sponsorships, or dialogue continues to shape AmCham Dubai as a relevant, responsive, and impactful organization. As we move into 2026, we do so with confidence, renewed energy, and a clear sense of purpose. The past 40 years have laid a strong foundation and the future promises even greater opportunity Thank you for being part of this journey

Warm regards,

We are AMCHAM DUBAI

DMCC: The financial centre that we have already built

Why the DMCC Financial Centre is the necessary formalisation of a powerhouse where physical trade, regulated derivatives, and digital capital have converged for two decades.

Dubai does not wait for permission to innovate It builds, iterates, and shapes its future where trade and finance meet That is the logic behind this centre.

DMCC Financial Centre is the working title for a fully operational financial centre that we are formalising, not creating from scratch We will unveil its official name at the Dubai Precious Metals Conference on November 25

The global trade finance gap, estimated at USD 2.5 trillion, is not going away. The world needs capital that moves faster, more transparently, and with less friction. This centre exists to turn physical trade into financial value without forcing companies to choose between innovation and regulation

This is the natural evolution of what DMCC was designed to be, a place where trade meets liquidity, where infrastructure meets innovation, and where Dubai’s role as a global marketplace for value becomes undeniable.

We are not building a financial centre to catch up We are naming it because it already exists, and giving it the scale it deserves.
