Plan the Work – Work the Plan

Just as an athlete never stops training when the season ends, the work of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation never slows. As we re ected on a year lled with growth, progress, and goal-driven events, we will keep adding strength to each initiative and keep the momentum going as we plan the work and work the plan for our next ‘season’.

For many years, ALL RISE has worked closely with Digital4Good. They are change agents, champions of digital safety for students, parents, teachers and the community. Digital4Good promotes and educates on the importance of kindness, compassion, and service to others, especially as we are distracted by so much negativity online. This year, through the #ALLRISE2HELP initiative, we are working towards more focused relationship and collaboration with #ICANHELP to assist them in elevating the great work they are doing. See Page 3 for more details.

After tremendous growth over the rst three years, the 2026 ALL RISE Summer Book Club is poised to be another successful season. Will we be able to engage 1,000 students to spend their summer days reading? We hope so – but need your help! Plans are already underway, so watch for the unveiling of the book list on March 6, and encourage the students and kids in your life to join in on the summer fun! A new, exciting addition to our reading and literacy comprehensive component is the launch of 99’s Books to Read campaign in tandem with Read Across America Week, March 2 through 6, 2026. Mini-Grants will continue to be a high-priority for ALL RISE. The grant amount has been raised to $3,000. To date, 46 Mini-Grants have been awarded, representing a total investment of $118,500. Beyond nancial support, the ALL RISE team remains committed to staying actively engaged with grant recipients. Their continued growth and success are important to us, and we value the lasting relationships built through this program. One Mini-Grant recipient, The Junior League of San Joaquin County recently held an event sponsored by ALL RISE, and shared with us – on page 4 – the joy and excitement attendees received at the event! Speaking of joy, Wayne, Samantha and I were lled with immense pride as we watched Aaron receive the 2025 AL MVP award at the Baseball Writers' Association of America Gala. It was a testament to Aaron setting a plan for himself and relentlessly working that plan.

With our ever-growing participation in programs and initiatives, it is important that we keep you informed and involved! Through the ALL RISE social media platforms, our TEAM REPORT newsletter, and our new website, we invite you to stay engaged as we live out our mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens by engaging them in activities that encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities. We often repeat the ALL RISE mission because it serves as the standard by which we measure the impact and signi cance of every program and initiative we undertake.

One of our most engaging initiatives is supporting the CADA Leadership conferences. ALL RISE provides funding for student and advisor registrations, transportation, and t-shirts to wear at the conference. These conferences empower them to expand their leadership skills and equip them with valuable tools to bring back to their classmates in hopes of fostering growth within their schools and communities. Looking Back to Move Forward

The end of a season brings with it a time for re ection and evaluation. Looking back on the goals I set at the end of 2024, I can see how much that re ection mattered. After April 2024 became one of the toughest months of my career, I knew that helping the team meant making sure 2025 didn’t follow the same path. In the end, the games we won in April proved crucial to our postseason push.

I was lucky to learn about goal-setting at a young age with the help of my parents. I loved video games—still do—and there was one particular game that I wanted more than anything. My parents told me that if I really wanted it, I would have to earn the money myself. They helped me get started by nding yard work for our neighbors: mowing lawns, pulling weeds, and sweeping porches.

It took a handful of weekends, and at times the work felt endless, but watching my small stash of cash grow was addictive. When I nally had enough saved to buy that game, it felt like a huge victory. More than the video game itself, the whole experience taught me the value of setting a goal, sticking with it, and feeling the rush of accomplishment when I reached it.

When we started ALL RISE, we couldn’t have envisioned just how much we would accomplish. Each year, the number of youth we support through our Mini-Grant program, and our Aspiring Leaders initiative has grown. Our book club grew by more than 25% last year, and we have our sights set on an even bigger milestone for 2026. Even the number of people reading this newsletter has grown beyond what we could have imagined when we were starting out my rookie season.

As 2025 comes to a close, I re ect on the goals I set for myself before the season. While my April was better, the season didn’t end the way we wanted it to, and that will shape my goals for next season. Growth, after all, comes from the willingness to keep striving. As my foundation continues to grow, so do the needs of young people. For 2026, we are committed to reaching higher, doing more, and creating even greater opportunities for the next generation. We hope you will stay connected and help us reach our goals.

Support, Uplift, and Rise Up!

The digital world is not slowing down anytime soon, and we must remember that solidarity and humanity are important, as is kindness, compassion, and service to others, especially as we are distracted by so much negativity online. #ALLRISE2HELP is a reminder to support, uplift, and rise up with each other, to create a healthy environment for ourselves and others on social media.

Inspiring the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow

When Aaron and his mom, Patty, began envisioning what the ALL RISE Foundation could become, they already knew the “what”: they wanted to inspire youth to become responsible citizens, grow as leaders, and recognize their unlimited potential. The next question was “how?” The answer came naturally, shaped by Patty’s experience as President of the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) and Aaron’s own involvement in CADA conferences. Since 2019, the ALL RISE Foundation has invested $113,000 into the Aspiring Leaders initiative to bring this vision to life by sponsoring registrations and providing transportation to leadership development conferences presented by CADA. These one-day regional events are designed for middle and high school students and teachers to develop leadership skills through workshops, keynote speakers, and interactive sessions.

On a crisp fall day in early October, I joined students at their conference in Woodland, California. I watched them eagerly strike up conversations with peers from other schools and saw both students and teachers actively participating in workshops, jotting down ideas to bring back to their schools. The workshops covered a broad spectrum, everything from lunchtime activities and games to navigating the digital world responsibly to fostering inclusive school environments. I felt proud knowing that we are empowering leaders with the skills to better serve their schools and communities. It was a strong reminder of how bright the future can be when we invest in young leaders, just as Aaron envisioned when he founded the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation in 2018.

ALL RISE Mini-Grant supports a Winning Team

It was a touchdown, a homerun, the winning 3-point swoosh at the buzzer! With an over-the-top sports theme, 450 students, teachers, and aides rallied at the Junior League of San Joaquin’s 10th Annual FESTIVA LE! With overwhelming team-support from the community, FESTIVALE was a huge success. Every Junior League of San Joaquin member helped create an arena of sports themed décor, speci cally for these extraordinary young adults.

“It's Game Time” was a tting theme for Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation to support this annual event through an ALL RISE Mini-Grant. Along with the support from many other community organizations and businesses, FESTI VALE brought a lot of excitement and smiles to the faces of the attendees. It was truly a Grand Slam.

League of San Joaquin member Daisy Plovnick proposed that the League host a special prom just for the often-overlooked 18–22-year-olds. The League, dedicated to community building, promised the volunteer power if Daisy could nd the funds.

With a budget of zero but hearts full of determination, Daisy and her co-chair, Pat Delucchi, called on the San Joaquin community to help. Their efforts blossomed into the rst FESTIVALE in 2013, where 170 students arrived at a transformed country club, nervous at rst, but quickly swept up in the magic. Twelve years later, thanks to donors and sponsors, this popular annual event continues to grow!

Looking back to the beginning, it wasn’t long ago that the prom for local special needs young adults could have been canceled due to lack of funds and volunteers. Junior

REACH OUT AND READ, BRONX, NEW YORK

A portion of Junior League of San Joaquin County’s mission is to inspire children and youth. They believe every player counts, every heart matters. This deeply resonates with the Junior League of San Joaquin County. This philosophy guides their work with special needs students in our community, who along with their dedicated teachers, inspire them with their incredible resilience and determination. Funding from the ALL RISE Mini-Grant will assist in producing Festivale – a prom-type party for 450 special needs students, 18-22 years of age. The 2025 Festivale theme, “It’s Game Time” is a poignant metaphor for the special needs students. Beyond this annual celebration, Junior League has expanded its commitment to these students, to assist with vocational prospects and life skills, empowering them to live and thrive as independently as possible.

Bulldog Pantry is all about helping youth to become responsible and caring citizens in the community. Student run, the food pantry helps the community by providing free food to over 400 families per month. Approximately fty student leaders and young adults volunteer - and discover their leadership skills while doing so. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will be used to purchase food, mostly from the Central California Food Bank for the pantry to distribute throughout the community. The grant covers about half the food costs for the year. In addition to community members bene ting from the nutrition they provide, the Bulldog Pantry fosters the growth of the young volunteers, creating the next generation of caring leaders for the community.

Founded in 1999, Reach Out and Read of Greater New York (ROR GNY) gives young children a strong foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. ROR was created by pediatricians who recognized the critical role of early reading in shaping a child’s development. ROR directly addresses the focus area of health and well-being by integrating early literacy promotion into pediatric care for underserved children in the Bronx. Access to inclusive books is a persistent challenge, as titles by diverse authors and illustrators, or those featuring bilingual content, are often signi cantly more expensive than mainstream options. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will allow ROR GNY to purchase new, high-quality, and linguistically diverse books for disadvantaged children in the Bronx ages 0 to 5.

It was an early morning, but the ALL RISE team gathered for our annual Thanksgiving gathering to support our community in need! Alesha Pichler, Marketing Director at the Emergency Food Bank stated, “We were thrilled to have a total of 2,883 participants. We raised more than $200,000 in sponsorships and registrations. Thank you to the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation, our community and all participants who came out to feed those in need, and support the work of the Emergency Food Bank of San Joaquin. In a conversation about digital citizenship, the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation brought together IT specialist Laura Ogando and high school senior Lolly Holguin to talk about something we’re all navigating—using technology with purpose instead of letting it use us.

The discussion opened with a question: Why are we using these tools in the rst place? Both speakers stressed that technology should enhance learning, teaching, and connection—not replace them. It’s about using digital tools for growth, understanding, and genuine community.

“We should be talking about this so we can make the most of our tools and stay safe and responsible online and in real life,” Laura shared, framing the conversation around empowerment rather than restriction.

They then turned to a critical skill: media literacy. Both highlighted the need to spot content designed to manipulate emotions—especially anger—and to refuse rage-bait if we want to thrive online.

Lolly’s perspective on agency grounded the session: “I’m in charge of what I do online... I can create the environment that I want.” She pointed to strategies like training algorithms, using blocking features, and being selective about what we absorb. As Laura concluded, “Live it for you, not for the internet.”
