Anchorage Waldorf School Summer of Wonder Camp

Summer of Wonder Camp offers children a season of meaningful play, creativity and connection to the natural world through a Waldorf-inspired approach to summer learning. The program is thoughtfully structured by age. Older children participate in weekly themed camps, which may include nature exploration and hiking, watercolor painting, music, handcrafts, culinary arts, wildcraft, mosaics and environmental stewardship. These themes invite deeper engagement, skill-building and collaborative projects throughout the week. Younger children are guided through a consistent daily rhythm rather than themed weeks. Their days focus on imaginative play, time outdoors, storytelling, songs, simple crafts and nurturing routines that support a sense of security and wonder.

All children are guided by experienced teachers who honor developmental stages, imagination and social connection while balancing active play, creativity and rest.

The program is open to children of all experience levels and is ideal for families seeking a gentle, creative and nature-rich summer camp experience. Space is limited. Registration required.
