The Ladies Golf Association (LGA) offers a welcoming and vibrant environment for women who share a love of golf. The Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is one of the most active organizations at The Great Outdoors, bringing golfers together for weekly play, tournaments, special events, and friendly competition throughout the year. Our Community Services Association

Requests for CSA maintenance help or information should be directed to the CSA Main Office staff at 321-268-9767 from 8am to 5pm weekdays. Contact the Guard Gate after hours, weekends or holidays at 321-383-2004.

The CSA office staff is proud to provide homeowners with a wide range of services, including vehicle access barcodes, pool access wristbands, new homeowner information packets, Architectural Review Committee applications and procedures, work orders, and maintenance requests for lawn care, irrigation, and potable water systems.

Shane Willey ser ves as CSA Manager and is responsible for overseeing a staff of more than 100 employees. He directs the day-to-day operations of The Great Outdoors while ensuring the community’s resources are managed efficiently and responsibly.

Sharon Sanford is the CAM Manager who processes assessment payments, prepares meeting minutes and official notices, coordinates elections, manages ballot requests, helps implement new programs, and supports everything from front desk coverage to HR and accounting.

The CSA manages and operates many of the community’s most popular amenities, including The TGO Golf Club, the Blue Heron Restaurant & Lounge, The Café, and Plantation Manor. In addition, the CSA supports a wide variety of recreational activities, clubs, and fitness classes designed to enhance the lifestyle of our residents.

Community ser vices also include curbside trash collection 364 days per year, 24-hour staffed entrance gate security, and roving courtesy patrol officers dedicated to helping maintain the safety, beauty, and exceptional quality of life that residents enjoy throughout The Great Outdoors.

The Great Outdoors Community Has It All!

The Great Outdoors Community Church is an active interdenominational congregation that welcomes residents and visitors from a variety of faith backgrounds. Led by Pastor David Price, the church offers weekly Bible studies presented by Dan Zahn, providing opportunities for learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth. The church is also home to a vibrant Singulars group that organizes special events and activities for single residents throughout the year. For those seeking a quiet moment of reflection, the church’s beautiful Memory Garden is open to all, offering a peaceful place for solitude, remembrance, and prayer.

Sawdust Club began as a place for woodworking enthusiasts to share their skills and enjoy their craft. Today, it has grown into a wellequipped workshop supporting both woodworking and metalworking projects, with access to lathes, bandsaws, grinders, drill presses, sanders, and much more. Membership is open to TGO lot owners and their family members. In addition to shop equipment, members can borrow a variety of tools and supplies, including saws, drills, nail guns, ladders, air compressors, floor jacks, and gardening tools.

The Mail Center provides residents and long-term renters with a convenient one-stop location for their mailing and shipping needs.They handle incoming mail and packages, shipping services, package receiving, and stamp sales. Its central location within the community makes it easy for residents to send and receive items without leaving TGO, saving both time and travel providing dependable day-to-day service.

The Lorraine Murphy Historic Center offers residents and visitors a fascinating look at the rich history of TGO. Located in the CSA Conference Room next to Trimmer’s Salon, the center features photographs, memorabilia, and exhibits that help preserve the community’s heritage. Trimmers’ Salon provides a full range of professional beauty and grooming services for both men and women. From haircuts and styling to coloring, perms, manicures, and pedicures, the experienced staff helps residents look and feel their best without leaving the community. Open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, making it easy to schedule an appointment and enjoy a little pampering close to home.

Two Beautiful Pools and Spa Facilities

The Plantation Manor Pool & Spa is open daily from 8:00am until dusk. Because sunset times change throughout the year, residents should refer to the posted chart at the pool for current closing times. The Oak Cove Pool & Spa offers extended hours and is open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm. For the safety and enjoyment of all residents and guests, pool wristbands are required at both pools and are provided free of charge through the CSA Office or the Welcome Center.

Space Launches

One of the unique benefits of living at TGO is having a front-row seat to the excitement of Florida’s Space Coast. Residents can often step outside their homes, gather with neighbors, or relax by the golf course driving range and watch rockets soar into the sky from nearby launch pads at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. Few communities offer such a spectacular and inspiring view of space exploration in action.

Doggy World is one of the most popular gathering spots in TGO, especially if you happen to have four legs. Located along the east side of Plantation Drive, it’s easy to spot the community’s favorite hangout for dogs and their owners. Throughout the day, residents gather while their furry companions run, play, and burn off energy in the spacious exercise area. Doggy World also features a convenient dog wash station, making it easy to clean up after a fun-filled play session. For many TGO dogs, it’s the closest thing to Disney Worldwhile their owners enjoy the social atmosphere.

Very Small Dogs 12 lbs or less 11:00am to 12:00 pm

Medium Dogs 35 lbs or less 3:00 to 4:00pm

•All dogs must be licensed with up-to -date vaccinations

•Dog owners must stay on premise and keep their dog in view at all times

•Aggressive dogs are not allowed

•No human or dog food is allowed - Small dog treats are okay

•Pet waste must be picked up immediately and placed in provided disposal box or taken home

•Dog owners must have the leash accessible at all times

•Dog owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by them

•Children age six and under are not permitted

•Dog owners must fill in any holes made by their dogs

•Cover up any messes with sand from provided containers

•Upon arrival, always ask unknown owners if it is safe to approach and if their dog is friendly

The Manor is the Hub of TGO...

The Manor is the hub of TGO and the center of community life, hosting many of the activities and events organized by the Activities Committee throughout the year. Our rental program has been operating successfully for over 22 years. Many owners of RV sites do not continuously occupy their site year round. During such periods of owner vacancy, the RV and Port sites can be put in the rental pool. Our rental pool is unique because all owners who have their sites in the pool share in the daily proceeds. Whether their site is rented or not, everybody gets a piece of the action!

Additional benefits while you are in the pool:
