The Very Vital and Important Bat
Let’s get something straight right now - Bats are not nearly as bad as their reputation. In fact, it’s a dang good thing they exist, especially here in TGO. For years they have been vilified as blood sucking creatures full of rabies, but truth be told, they are a very important part of our ecosystem. Not only are they great pollinators but their favorite food is insects - the mosquito kind of insects - which they can gobble up to 3,000 a night. Just think how much itching and scratching they have saved you over the years! Find out more starting on page 48.
