Eagle’s Pride Mike Thibeau
Potato, Potahto... here’s the story how a potato farmer from Maine ended up moving to TGO and buying Eagle’s Pride. It’s a great story... basically the American dream. Mike and his family moved here over 27 years ago when they purchased Eagle’s Pride from a guy named Ed Goodie. At that time, the business was only three years old, there was one employee and one single building. Today, as we all know, it has grown into quite a sizable business. Buildings and offices were added, new businesses were started, there were good times and slow times, but never bad times. Mike with his wife, Dane’t, built a successful family business. It’s a great story starting on page 26.
The New Happenings Editor
Thank God! We are finally getting rid of those obnoxious editors from The Happenings. You couldn’t go anywhere in TGO without those jokers sticking there noses into everything you did! “Stop... let me take your picture! Hold still! Don’t blink! Smile!” Well... you won’t have them to kick around any more. Enter Greg Wostrel, the new Editor of The Happenings. Greg is a very accomplished Art Director with a long list of skills that blend perfectly with the production needs of The Happenings. He is a talented designer, a terrific photographer and an all-around good guy. Greg will be taking over the helm starting with the April 12 issue, so, let’s roll out the welcome mat and greet Greg with the gusto that TGO is famous for! See page 15.
