Greetings Pirate Nation, and welcome to
another exciting year of Pirate Athletics!
My name is Bennie Huitt and I am your Athletic Director. As your Director, I have grown to understand that Chilton ISD Athletics comes with high expectations. The rich tradition and pride of the Chilton community and athletics is undeniable. It is a true honor to be a part of an environment which cultivates academic and athletic accomplishment while embracing Excellence, Discipline and Sportsmanship. Our Chilton ISD Administration, Faculty, and Staff focuses on the complete success of our students-athletes. We work to ensure our student-athletes push for excellence in every task they attempt, and become leaders and role models within our school community and beyond. Our Athletic Staff is phenomenal! We have passionate coaches who have the expertise to coach in their sport while caring about their athletes on and off the playing field. I contend that it is my role, and my greatest responsibility to create a winning environment and to ensure our Athletic Program develops athletes who can make positive contributions to our society. I would like to thank our student-athletes, coaches, and spectators for conducting themselves in a manner that shows respect and sportsmanship when we interact with opposing teams, coaches, fans, and contest officials. As the public holds student-athletes to a higher scrutiny, we must continue to work to demonstrate good judgment and a positive perspective of school athletics. Our success and pride will come from competing the right way. Thank you Pirate Nation for the role that you play in establishing a winning tradition.
