Owners will be able to enjoy a further two years or 50 000km of worry-free driving, bringing the total warranty term to five years or 150 000km, whichever comes first. With the introduction of the new extended warranty buyers will be able to enjoy reduced ownership costs. As long as owners service and maintain their vehicles according to the warranty terms and conditions, Jaguar Land Rover will cover the costs of any unexpected mechanical or electronic faults that may occur. Jaguar Land Rover will also honour the extended warranty across borders. All vehicles covered by the warranty will continue to be covered in markets that have official Jaguar Land Rover dealerships. Customers who travel across borders in Africa – for example, from Tanzania to Kenya – will have warranty claims honoured at their destination country, providing peace of mind when travelling. Should owners sell their vehicle before five years or 150 000km, the remainder of the warranty period will remain in effect, giving future pre-owned buyers the peace of mind of a manufacturer-backed warranty.
