This workshop is targeted at Account Managers, sales people who are managing ‘Key Accounts’ within a business to business environment. The key learning form this workshop is prioritising resources to maximise margin and profit. This will be achieved by developing a sales plan for each strategic account, lead the buying process and close more sales, evaluate opportunities.
Effective interpersonal communication is essential not only when conducting negotiations but in any situation involving the interaction between individuals. Assertive communicators deliver more and are more effective team players within the business context. This workshop aims to make participants aware of the importance of assertive communication; provides them with the necessary tools and techniques to improve this skill. First understanding the communication process, identifying the barriers to communication, identifying what is assertive communication and other styles of communication, and finding solutions to develop assertive communication, then through exercises will develop active listening, feedback, building rapport, skills. Aim of this workshop is to help participant recognise and understand how their role and behaviour impacts on their team and organisation. Additionally, it develops key skills to enhance personal participation, contribution and performance as part of a working team. Through exercises and working in teams delegates will review why we work in teams, team formation and the importance of roles and responsibilities, self motivation and supporting others, developing communication skills, giving and receiving feedback and time management. This three day workshop is a comprehensive leadership journey with each key leadership competency reviewed in detail. Each delegate will participate completing a self assessment on the 10 core leadership competencies and uses DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance) and PIAV (Personal Interests, Attitudes, Values) assessment profiles. Through a variety of exercises delegates will learn how to influence and build relationships within and across the organisation, manage change and transition, lead others using diverse styles, coaching and developing them, and align actions to strategic direction.
Feedback and coaching skills are an essential leadership competency, enabling the manager/coach to develop and grow their team, department and business. This workshop will help participants to explore a coaching model indorsed by the Institute of Leadership & Management (UK), understand coaching techniques and their application in the workplace and give them the opportunity to practice what they have learned in a safe environment.
